Facts of the Persecution

Police from the Nanshi District Substation of Baoding City, Hebei Province relentlessly persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. They are in charge of all cases of persecution against Falun Gong in Baoding City. They illegally abducted more than ten Falun Dafa practitioners last September. Now they are trying to destroy Dafa material centers by monitoring all the places where printing materials can be purchased.

About five to six policemen from the Minzhu Substation of Tonghua City, Jilin Province, including Feng Gang, Liu Xiaofei, and Zhao Xiangchun, brutally persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. Whether it is day or night, they arrest, beat, ransack the homes of or make accusations against Falun Dafa practitioners at will. Police Feng Gang, Liu Xiaofei, and others abducted Falun Dafa practitioners and locked them in dark cells, where they were cuffed to heating pipes that were only 20 cm above the ground. These police officers then take turns beating them. Every single Falun Dafa practitioner who was sent to this detention center from their substation after the year 2000 has suffered some type of physical injury.

The following is an excerpt from the article, "Exposing the Criminal Means Used Inside the Hebei Provincial Brainwashing Center."

First they have several collaborators* closely monitor each Falun Dafa practitioner in an attempt to shake Dafa practitioners' faith. Secondly, three to five people take turns attacking each practitioner, with strong words, surrounding the practitioner with constant debate. They kick practitioners, they try to threaten and tempt practitioners, and they subject practitioners to physical torture for more than ten hours at a time, including sleep deprivation. The third step is to have some practitioners who are not clearheaded, write down a statement to declare their dissociation with Dafa. Then they reinforce these wayward elements until the practitioners totally lose righteous thoughts toward Falun Dafa. The last part is to force this practitioner write a "confession" for the police.
