Falun Dafa practitioner Shao Hui, male, 34 years old, was a medical Doctor in the Hongshi Forestry Bureau in Huadian City of Jilin Province. He was illegally sentenced to three years in labor camp by his employer in December 2000 for passing out truth clarifying materials. He was detained in the notorious Yinmahe Labor Camp in Jiutai County, Jilin Province, where Falun Dafa practitioners are brutally tortured. Using strong righteous thoughts, Shao Hui escaped the labor camp in March 2002, then became homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested. In July or August 2002, police stormed his rental house in Jilin City, Jilin Province. We have not heard from him since then.
Falun Dafa practitioner Du Min, female, high school graduate, is a retired employee of the Jilin City Radio Factory. She was illegally detained in the Changchun Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp, and endured inhuman torture. She was brutally beaten in September 2002 by policeman Wang Gang from the Gaoxin Substation, Gaoxin District, Jilin City, Jilin Province. She was sentenced to two years in labor camp, and is still detained.
Falun Dafa practitioner Du Hongfang, female, 43 years old, lived in Hadawan Mining Family Housing in Jilin City, Jilin Province. She was sent to labor camp for one year in December 1999 for going to Beijing to appeal. Her term was extended one year because she remained firm in her belief in Falun Dafa. She was sent to labor camp for another two years in September 2002 for the second time. She was beaten by police in the 2nd team, 4th unit of the Changchun Women's Labor Camp. Policeman Liu Zhiwei used an electric baton to shock Du Hongfang, and forced her to stand facing a wall that was covered with slanderous words. Once, she was deprived of sleep for seven days. At present, she is still in detention.
Falun Dafa practitioner Li Shuying, female, 35 years old, was a resident of Yushu City, Jilin Province. She was sent to a labor camp for one year in 2000 for going to Beijing to appeal. Her term was extended one year without reason because she remained firm in her belief in Falun Dafa. She was sent to a labor camp in March, 2002 for the second time, and is still detained in the 4th team, 4th unit of the Changchun Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp. There, she was beaten by policeman Wang Jing. Li Shying went on a hunger strike for 78 days, and refused to wear an inmate nametag. Policeman Wang Jing wrote the word "Criminal" on a piece of white material, and then sewed it on Li Shying's clothes. Li Shuying does not cooperate with the evildoers and is continuing her hunger strike to protest. Wang Jing is using even worse means to torture her.
Falun Dafa practitioner Jin Min, female, 35 years old, was an employee of Tonghua City Steel Plant of Jilin Province. She was illegally sent to a labor camp for one year in February 2002. Her term was extended for one year without reason because she remains firm in her belief in Falun Dafa. She was sent to a labor camp in March 2002 for the second time, and was detained in the 1st team, 4th unit of the Changchun Heizuizi Women's Labor Camp. After a hunger strike lasting 78 days, she was transferred to the 1st team, 6th unit.
