History tells us that no tyrants who persecuted freedom of belief and human rights could escape the punishment of law. No matter how long it took and no matter how far away they tried to run and hide, all were brought to justice.

Jiang faces lawsuits in several countries

Jiang's trial is a new challenge facing justice systems worldwide. At the same time, this case is setting a new precedent in history. No leader of a country can use his power and position to seek immunity after committing torture and persecution against his citizens and citizens of other countries. The chief perpetrator responsible for persecuting freedom of beliefs and human rights cannot escape the punishment of law, whether it be in Europe, North America, Asia, or Australia.

Jiang faces lawsuits in many countries, including the US, Belgium, Australia and others. The lawsuits in these countries have established that the persecution against Falun Gong falls under the category of genocide. This is an example of a head of state using the power of his office to commit violent and deceitful persecution of the people he governs. This fact is also well documented by overwhelming material and human evidence.

The persecution of basic human beliefs and fundamental human rights goes against conscience, and should be condemned by all those who cherish peace and justice.

The trial in people's hearts, conscience, and the court of human justice is in progress

The trial of Jiang, master of genocide, has begun in people's hearts, conscience, and the court of human justice. The establishment of the Global Coalition for Bringing Jiang Zemin to Justice will serve as "a cohesive force of justice to expose Jiang's crimes and place him on trial in the court of conscience, morality, and law." This message has been swiftly sent to each and every corner of the world. This goal has gained wide support among people and groups who uphold justice. So far, many groups and organizations in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia have joined the coalition. Individual membership is also growing day by day.

To quote a well-known figure, "This is an extremely rare case in the present history of China, judged by the extent of physical brutality, verbal abuse, and the number of victims. We hope that whether you're in China or live overseas, you hold an unequivocal position regarding freedom of belief, freedom of religion, and freedom to express one's religious orientation."

Indeed, all kind-hearted people in this world bear the same responsibility to push justice forward in the course of history, to correct wrongdoing, to stop the killing and torturing of the innocent, and to restore what is good and magnificent.

More Chinese start to learn about the lawsuits Jiang faces overseas

Not long ago, the public security system in China issued documents regarding the lawsuits brought against Jiang by Falun Gong practitioners in various countries. These documents explicitly forbid providing evidence for the lawsuits while at the same time completely leaving out the details of the lawsuits. This intentional cover-up backfired, and the fact that Jiang is being sued overseas has gradually leaked out to the public from internal sources.

Chinese officials did not expect that the news briefing by the spokesperson of the foreign ministry would actually help confirm to the Chinese people that Jiang is facing lawsuits in several countries. The trial of Jiang deserves attention from people in China and people around the world. We believe that, in the days ahead, the Chinese people will indeed be able to learn about and witness without delay the rightful trial of Jiang, the chief perpetrator of genocide, along with the rest of the world.
