Note: On May 20, 2003, officials in Fushun city planned to illegally put 12 Dafa practitioners on trial. The practitioners resisted with righteous thoughts and actions; the illegal trial ended hastily.

The following is what had transpired on May 20.
On May 20, 2003, the officials in Fushun city planned to illegally try 12 Dafa practitioners. One day earlier, we found out about it and came to the decision that we must not don prison clothes, but wear our own.
When the person in charge saw us seven female Dafa practitioners not donning the prison clothes, she shouted: "Why don't they wear the prison clothes?" The manager of the detention center had to usher her away. Under our righteous thoughts, the evil could not do anything.
The bailiffs handcuffed us in a chain. Enroute, some of us sent forth righteous thoughts while others clarified the truth to the bailiffs. When we arrived at Xinfu district court in Fushun city, there were many people standing in front of the courthouse. Some of them were Dafa practitioners' family members who came after they heard the news. Once we got off the vehicle, we called out loud: "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is the righteous Way!" In order not to have us calling out, the bailiffs hurried us into the hall. We did not stop; "Falun Dafa is good!" reverberated throughout the long hallway.
In the courtroom, there were dozens of people in the visitor's seats at the back. The court session ensued, and because we did not have legal representation, we pleaded for ourselves.
They asked: "Are you the ones out there clarifying the truth?"
We answered: "Yes, we were. It was to let people know the truth so that they would not be deceived by lies. It was a magnificent deed."
They asked one of the Dafa practitioners: "Is Jiang Zemin being sued?" The Dafa practitioner in a stern and righteous tone said: "I study Dafa and am being persecuted. He is the cause of my persecution. Since when is it a crime to write the facts about one's persecution?" Every Dafa practitioner in court all displayed Dafa practitioner's dignity and unshakeable steadfastness in Dafa.
Between inquisitions, we used the interval to tell the truth to the bailiffs and told them: Jiang has been sued in the international courts; you do not want to follow his footsteps; please remember that Dafa is good and please don't mistreat Dafa practitioners. Among the 12 of us, some sent forth righteous thoughts while others clarified the truth. For the ones that haven't seen each other for a long time, they discussed the news on clearwisdom.net and the situation validating Dafa outside. Still others recited Master's new articles for the fellow practitioners. They used this period of time to share experience and discuss.
When the investigation ended, we were taken to the courtroom again. They asked us: "how do you plead?" We replied unanimously: "Not guilty. What we do is magnificent."
Then, they had everyone make a statement. We all said: "We do these because Dafa is good. We want to tell people that Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa. Those things such as the 'self-immolation at Tiananmen Square' are fabricated lies. We want to let people know that Dafa has been spread to over 50 countries around the world, and only China persecutes Dafa, ... ..." Before Dafa practitioners Jia Naizhi and Qu Cailing could finish their statements, they were interrupted and the court session was adjourned hastily.
The bailiffs pushed and shoved us out of the courtroom. Dafa practitioners protested the illegal trial and called out loud: "We haven't finished our statements yet, why not let us finish? Why adjourned? Falun Dafa is good." They loaded us on the vehicle. At this time, there were many people outside. We called out to them: "Falun Dafa is good!" "Falun Dafa is righteous Fa! "
Every Dafa practitioner in the prison is firm in Dafa, understands the Fa from the Fa, and with righteous thoughts and righteous actions. Just as Master said: "The evil has exhausted its tricks, and the Dafa disciples have matured through the tempering." (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.)
