Solemn Declaration
I am nearly 70 years old. During the evil persecution, I was forcibly arrested and sent to a brainwashing center for no valid reason. Amid the persecution, I wrote the "four statements,"* said what I should not say, and did what I should not do. Later, after thinking over my behavior in the brainwashing center, I felt extremely regretful. Master, with his boundless compassion, has given me opportunities to correct myself. Through searching within myself with a clean and clear mind, I have seen my selfish notions and human attachments. Under the persecution, I accepted the old cosmic forces' arrangements, and at critical times I forgot Master and Dafa. After I rose from my fall, I fully realized the seriousness of cultivation practice. I will correct my mistakes, keep studying the Fa with a clean and clear mind, cultivate myself diligently, and let go of my human attachments.
Here, I solemnly declare that the "repentance statement," "condemnation statement," "breakaway statement," and others that I wrote while in the brainwashing center, the so-called "guarantee letter" that I wrote in my work unit, and all my previous words and deeds that are not in accordance with Dafa are all null and void. I will redouble my efforts and make up for the damage that I caused to Dafa. I will have firm faith in Master and Dafa, be a qualified Dafa disciple, cultivate myself diligently, do well in truth-clarification and send forth righteous thoughts, and walk each of my steps well.

* Practitioners are coerced under brainwashing and torture to write these as proof that they have given up their belief. Created by the "610 Office," the three statements consist of a letter of repentance, a guarantee to never again practice Falun Gong, and a list of names and addresses of all family members, friends and acquaintances who are practitioners.

Solemn Statement
While I was giving out truth-clarification flyers, the police arrested me and sent me to a labor camp. Later I was brainwashed. Afterwards I followed an evil path. I was used by Jiang's gang, and did many bad things. Only recently have I realized my mistakes. I feel extremely remorseful. Beginning in June 2001, I destroyed two Dafa truth-clarification materials production sites. I betrayed and persecuted about twenty Dafa practitioners. This caused a loss for the truth-clarification materials worth several tens of thousand Yuan.*
In the labor camp I was isolated from the outside. I was deceived and misled, while at the same time I thought that I was doing a good thing. My mind did not change until I read Master's "Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference" on February 25, 2003 and other subsequent lectures from other places. However, I still did not completely wake up, and still tried to find excuses for myself within the Fa. I became clear-headed only when I recently experienced some incidents that deeply affected me. I now understand how large the sins are that I committed, and I also realize that Master, with his boundless compassion, has not given up on me. I did indeed wake up however, and have indeed committed severe sins.
Hereby I solemnly declare that all of my previous writings that are disrespectful of Master and Dafa are null and void. I will correct my mistakes and act with a righteous mind. I will keep my determination in Dafa cultivation and walk well the rest of my journey by following Master. I will redouble my efforts, and make up for the damage that I caused to Dafa.
