(Clearwisdom.net) Since the first time we held an anti-torture exhibition on July 20 this year, Falun Dafa practitioners in Ireland have realized more and more clearly how it can help people to understand the brutal abuses of human rights happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China because they refuse to renounce their beliefs in following the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. Therefore, we decided to hold the anti-torture exhibition nationwide so that more and more people can see the evil and immoral nature of this persecution, which has already claimed at least 1059 lives, and how it attempts to destroy people by destroying their faith.
On the first Saturday of October we went to the city of Cork. Cork is the second largest city in Ireland with a population of 140,000 and is located at the southern end of the country. Once we arrived in the busy city centre, it started to rain, so we sat down and sent righteous thoughts. In just a short while, the rain stopped, so we quickly set up the posters, a table, and prepared the make-up before the anti-torture exhibition began. People in Cork are very kind. They were shocked to see the re-enactments of the methods of torture and could not believe that what they were seeing is really happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China.
On the 8th of October, we held an anti-torture exhibition for the second time in Dublin. While acting as the victims, the practitioners were very cold but remained in good spirits. Many people were watching, and more and more Chinese people came to have a look and find out the truth about Falun Gong. Some even had a long discussion with practitioners. The coordination among our practitioners has become better and better through organizing these torture exhibitions. We have become more and more experienced in the many aspects that are involved in preparing for the exhibition, including authentically playing the roles of the victims and persecutors, makeup, sound system technology, making the exhibits used to display the torture methods and explaining the facts about persecution.
