Chen Guanghui, 38, is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Jiangsu Province. After he graduated from Nanjing University, he had been working at Lianyungang Division of Chinese Construction Bank. In September 2001, he was sentenced to eight years in prison for practicing Falun Gong, and was held in Suzhou Prison. On July 29, 2004, Chen Guanghui was injured on the back of his head in Suzhou Prison. He has been in a deep coma since then, and in great danger.

On September 4, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners Zou Xueqiu, Fu Shilan, and Cao Yuetao from Xinhua, Hunan Province were followed and arrested while distributing truth-clarifying leaflets in a village. Currently, they are being illegally held in the Xinhua Detention Center.

On September 3, 2004, Ms. Zhang Guizhen, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Bayihu, Hongshan District, Huhan City, was arrested again because she persisted in practicing Dafa. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Sun Danying, 54, is a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Mechanical Section in Jixi City. On September 10, she went to the Leisure Square in Jidong County with another fellow practitioner to clarify the truth, and was arrested by policemen Cui Guangri and He Wenming, who are from the Security Brigade of Jidong County's Police Department. Currently, they are being secretly held in Jidong County's Detention Center.

Ms. Zhu Guangzhen, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hefei, Anhui Province, was illegally held at Sub-Division 4, Division 1 in Anhui Province Female Prison. After being coerced by sub-division head Dong Yanru, the death penalty prisoners brutally tortured Zhu Guangzhen, both mentally and physically, using various means. Her teeth were knocked out, and whenever she didn't meet any of the policemen's requirements, they brutally kicked her, and beat her with electric batons. They created difficulties for Zhu Guangzhen, sparing no effort. This 70-year-old lady has constantly suffered torture.

Ha Jianhua, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Nanyuan Street Neighborhood Administration Office, Weifang City, Shandong Province, has been forced to leave home to avoid being persecuted. On the afternoon of August 2, 2004, Nanyuan Street Neighborhood Administration Office arrested him while he was walking on the street. The next day he was forcibly sent to a detention center, where he held a hunger strike to protest the illegal arrest. Five days later, the detention center sent Ha Jianhua back to Nanyuan Street Neighborhood Administration Office for fear that they would have to take the responsibility for his death or the injury to his health. Nanyuan Street Neighborhood Administration Office immediately sent him to Kuiwen District Brainwashing Center. At the end of August, Nanyuan Street Neighborhood Administration Office illegally sent Ha Jianhua to the Changle County Detention Center. He was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor.

On August 26, police in Liling City, Hunan Province illegally arrested six Falun Gong practitioners at their workplaces and their homes. Practitioners who were arrested at their workplaces include Ms. Zhang Binying, Ms. Liu Jinyu, Ms. Yang Yanhua, and Ms. Wu Aijun. Li Donglian and Chen Yuying were arrested at home. Currently, these six practitioners are being illegally held in Wangxian Detention Center.

On September 8, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Xiuying, a teacher of Zhanjiang Ocean University, was secretly arrested. This is another crime committed by Zhanjiang City's "610 Office" targeting the teachers and students at Zhanjiang Ocean University. About ten students of Zhanjiang Ocean University have been illegally suspended or dismissed from school. Chen Xiangqian and He Gengqing were sentenced to 13 and 11 years in prison respectively. A young teacher at Zhanjiang Ocean University, Dr. Tang Xueyun, has been forced to leave home to avoid further persecution by the "610 Office."

On December 7, 2003, the section head of the Security Department, Pei Huaiwei, and special agents Wang Jun and Su Zhimin arrested more than ten Falun Dafa practitioners in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province while they were sharing experiences at Ms. Bai Jinyu's home. Bai Jinyu's son, Zhao Xudong, was also arrested.

On February 7, 2004, Zhao Xudong was tortured to death. We heard that Bai Jinyu had been tortured to the point of paralysis in half of her body. Her family members were refused to visit her many times.

On September 8, 2004, Ms. Song Ruihua, 41, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Jinshan Town, Kelaqinqi, Chifeng City, along with another Dafa practitioner were reported to police while clarifying the truth at Wangyedian, Kelaqinqi, and were arrested.

On the night of September 10, 2004, police arrested two female Falun Dafa practitioners in Songshan District, Chifeng City, one named Yang Jing, 34, the other called Teacher Zhang, 35, for distributing truth-clarifying leaflets. They were reported while distributing these materials in Songshan District. The police sent them to Sanyanjing Police Station in Songshan District.

On September 13, Liao Yuanhua, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Wuxue City, Hubei Province clarified the truth to people on the bus from Wuxue to Taiping Township, saying that he had been brutally tortured by the "610 Office" and the Political and Judiciary System for several years. He was then reported and arrested at Yuchuan Station by police from the Yuchuan Police Station. He was sent back to Wuxue and held in a detention center.

At about 10:00 a.m. on September 13, 2004, some policemen and unlawful officials from the "610 Office" arrested Ms. Yuan Xiuying, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Daoli District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, and sent her to a brainwashing center.
