(Clearwisdom.net) In December of 2000, the police arrested me when I went to Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. When a policeman asked for my name and address, I did not tell him. The police decided to send me to a detention center in Tianjin City. That night, around 3:30 a.m., several police officers dragged me into a small room, yelling at me, trying to force me to tell them my address. I did not respond. They then started to beat me on my face. When they realized that their methods were ineffective, two other policemen told me that there were some hungry German shepherd dogs outside the room. They pulled my hands to the side of the window to let the dogs bite me. Afterwards, they dragged me out and threw me into the dog kennel.
Later on, I was sent to the No. 2 Brigade of the Heizuizi Labor Camp for Women in Changchun City, Jilin Province. Because I did not yield to their brutal attempts to change my mind, the authorities subjected me to more brutal torture. When I refused to recite the rules of the labor camp, one policeman named Yu Po shocked me all over my body with a high voltage electric baton for about 45 minutes. He shocked me so violently that I was rolling on the floor, the pain so excruciating that I could hardly bear it. My entire body smelled of burned flesh. By then, the shocks made my hands and legs lose all their strength, and my whole body was terribly injured. As a result, I could not squat when I went to the restroom for more than one month; the skin on my whole body was burnt or discolored from the torture.
Since they could not break my resolve with electric shocks, the cruel police chief Liu bragged that they would continue to shock me the next day and threatened to send me to a mental hospital for further persecution. I kept silent, and they stuck me with electric needles to shock me again.
My health deteriorated because of the continual abuse. Police Chief Liu and police officer Yu Po then sent me to a mental hospital under the pretext of "curing my illness." There, I was tortured with drugs.
Every day, they injected unknown drugs into my body. Whenever they did this, I felt all kinds of pain and experienced horrible visual hallucinations. Before being tortured, I weighed more than 120 pounds (55 kilograms). As a result of the persecution, my weight dropped to only around 55 or 65 pounds (25 or 30 kilograms). More than once, I was on the brink of death.
The persecutors were afraid that I might die on their hands. So, on July 31, 2001, I was sent back home, and they forced my family to pay them 1,500 yuan (1).
As a result of the persecution, I was devastated, both physically and mentally. I could not take care of myself, and I could not think clearly. Furthermore, both my husband and child were also jailed because of their belief in the principles of "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance." When they sentenced my child to two years in prison, he was only sixteen years old. He was an extremely good student at school. My son lost his right to an education due to this persecution.
