1. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Dafa Practitioner He Wanjin and Her Family Are Persecuted

On September 28, 2004, Pan Guojian, head of the 610 Office in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, ordered the police from the public security sub-bureau in Chengbei District to ransack Dafa practitioner He Wanjin's home and abduct Ms. He and her daughter Ruan Yuhua (also a Dafa practitioner) without any legal procedures. The police locked up the mother and the daughter separately in the First and the Second Detention Centers respectively. The next day the police abused Ms. He and fabricated charges against her. They tried to extort a confession from her by threatening her. Ms. He has a 93-year-old mother who has trouble moving around. The police threatened that they would arrest her whole family and leave her mother alone at home unattended. Under the intense physical and mental abuse, Ms. He fell into convulsions and passed out several times. Ms. He's daughter has now been locked up in a forced labor camp and sentenced to a two-year imprisonment.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Shi Shengying, Wang Xibin, and Others Abducted by Tiexi District Police for Clarifying the Facts of Falun Gong

At around 7:00 p.m. on November 30, policemen from the Tiexi District Public Security Sub-Bureau in Shenyang City abducted Dafa practitioners Shi Shengying, Wang Xibin, and Zhang Li in the presence of everyone at Xinghua Park. Later, Zhang Li was released. On December 1, 2004, Shi Shengying and Wang Xibin were sent to the Shenyang Detention Center. People who now visit Xinghua Park all talk about this illegal incident, since these Dafa practitioners did not do anything but talk with people about how to be a good person according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance." Shi Shengying had been imprisoned in Masanjia Labor Camp before. In September 2002, she came out of the labor camp without giving up her practice of Falun Dafa. Because Ms. Shi was locked up and abused in an isolated small cell for a long period time, her whole body was covered with pus and she was close to death when she was released. Wang Xibin was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. She held a hunger strike in the prison and lost six of her front teeth due to the forced-feeding torture. She was released only three months ago.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] The Persecution of Ms. Bao Caixia at Dalian Airport

Ms. Bao Caixia, 36, graduated from the Chinese Commercial Aviation Institute. After graduation, she was assigned to the Dalian International Airport to work. After July 20, 1999, the airport director tried to force her to give up Falun Dafa practice. However, she refused to give up her belief and has been steadfast in her Falun Dafa practice ever since then. In January 2000, when she was four months pregnant, the airport officials started persecuting Bao Caixia. They first took away her position of associate director and only gave her 200 yuan each month for living expenses. On June 5, 2001, they fired Ms. Bao, using the excuse of "absence from work."

In April 2001, while Ms. Bao was still breast-feeding her baby, the airport leaders made the decision to send her to a forced labor camp at the end of her breast-feeding period. To avoid further persecution, she left home with her baby upon hearing the news. The airport officials searched her home and all her relatives' homes, and tried to abduct her by waiting in front of her house, but failed. On June 5, 2001, the airport fired Bao Caixia. She and her baby were forced to be destitute and homeless for a very long period of time.
