(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Yang Aijin, 33 years old, is from Jinxi Township, Zhongfang County, Hunan Province. He had severe epilepsy since childhood and was cured after he practiced Falun Gong. Because he persisted in practicing Falun Gong, he was detained and beaten several times by people from the township government. They also took away his two farm cattle and his electrical appliances. One time, he was brutally beaten and suffered many injuries. His blood spurted on the wall and onto the ground. They finally stopped after many people denounced their savagery. To avoid further persecution, Yang Aijin had to leave his hometown and work at other places. The township government authorities and the "610 Office"* personnel from Zhongfang County tracked him all the way to Hainan, where he labored as a construction worker. He was arrested. One year has passed and his family has been trying to find him, but they haven't heard anything about him.

Early one morning in September 1999, around 4:00 A.M., Yang Aijin was taken away from his home by Yang Siqing, Xie Yuyou, Yang Weiping, Wei Shanxiang and others from the township government. He was detained for 15 days at the Zhongfang County Detention Center. The stress triggered a return of his epilepsy and since then, he would suffer seizures three or five times per month.

In November 1999, Yang Aijin went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. At Tiananmen Square, when he admitted he was a Falun Dafa practitioner, he was pushed down to the ground and kicked furiously by the armed police. Later he was handcuffed and taken back by Xiao Longcai from the Zhongfan County Police Department and by Yang Siqing from the township government. He was detained at the county detention center for 15 days. When Yang Siqing tried to force him to sign a statement to not practice Falun Gong or appeal, he wrote down, "Falun Dafa is good," which caused him to be detained another ten days at the township government.

In March 2000, without any legal documentation, Li Renan and Liu Xiaoping from the "610 Office" in Zhongfang County, Xie Yuyou and Tan Jinrong from the township government came to his home and arrested him again. He was detained for 15 days. He had two epileptic seizures during that period.

In April 2000, during the busy farming season, he was arrested again and detained at the township government. Yang Aijin held a three-day hunger strike to protest the illegal detention.

In May 2000, Yang Siqing, Chen Kefei, Xie Yuyou and others forcibly searched practitioners' homes. They took away their furniture, farm machinery, farm cattle and Dafa materials. Just from Yang Aijin's home alone, they took away his two cattle, one TV set and two tape players with a total value of about 3,000 Yuan**.

Just for wanting to have a healthy body and be a good person according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," Yang Aijin was often harassed.

On May 13, 2000, Yang Aijin and his mother decided to go to Beijing again to appeal for Dafa. Because of his health they turned back half way there. The township government learned about this. On June 6 2000, five people, including Yang Siqing and Xie Yuyou drove a tractor to his home and tried to arrest him. Yang Aijin did not cooperate with them and was dragged to the tractor by his feet. The villagers stood up and tried to stop them, "Yang Aijin is not well. His life could be in danger if you treat him in such a way." Xie Yuyou called loudly, "I will take responsibility if he dies." One villager said, "Write down what you say then." Others all agreed to have a written guarantee that the persecutors would assume responsibility for Yang Aijin's fate. Late at night, the villains finally gave up their attempt and left.

Around 9:00 A.M. the next day, seven people, including Wei Shanxiang and Yang Licheng, came to arrest him again. Yang Aijin was detained at the township government for 25 days this time. Yang's parents were disabled. His father had been paralyzed for over thirty years. Their farm production was mainly dependent on Yang Aijin. His several arrests and detentions had severely impacted his family.

In November 2000, nine thugs, including Yang Siqing and Chen Kefei rushed into Yang's home and brutally beat him in the kitchen. Yang's family tried to stop them but failed. One hour later, when Yang got rid of them and went out, they caught him again and continued to beat him at the side of the road. Two held his feet, two held his hands; others pushed him on the ground to beat him. Yang Aijin suffered many injuries and bled severely. The blood spurted on the ground and on the wall, and on Liao Hairong's clothes. With the shouts from his family and the onlookers, "The cadres of the government are beating a person! They have injured a person!" Many additional villagers arrived. Finally, they didn't take away the injured Yang Aijin, but his mother and three other practitioners in the village were detained by the township government for 11 days.

On August 23, 2001, when Yang Aijin and another practitioner went to neighboring Wanxi Township to distribute Dafa truth-clarifying information, someone tempted by financial incentives reported them. The township government would give 500 Yuan to anyone who reported a practitioner. They were arrested and handcuffed to the basketball goal on the sports field of a middle school in Wanxi Township. More than ten people took turns brutally beating Yang Aijin and the other practitioner for over an hour. Then they were handcuffed above their heads onto the pole, with their feet not touching the ground. They suffered repeated beating and being hung up until they lost consciousness. Later they were sent to Baihunao Detention Center in Anjiang Town, Hongjiang City and detained for 27 days. Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang was released after paying a "fine" of more than 10,000 Yuan.

To avoid further persecution, Yang Aijin left home and went to Hainan Province. Two days later, Chen Kefei from Jinxi Township and Yang Changgou from the "610 Office" in Zhongfang County tracked him down and went to Hainan Province as well. They collaborated with the local police station, Baofang Police Station, Wenchang City, Hainan Province to monitor Yang Aijin. At 7:30 A.M. on September 6, 2002, Yang Aijin was reported to be practicing the Dafa exercises and was arrested by Yun Changgui from the Baofang Police Station. He was later handed over to people from the Police Department in Wenchang City. Yang's family had gone there many times to look for him but didn't know where he was. They were admonished and threatened by assistant police chief Lin Mingqun. One year has passed. Yang Aijin's whereabouts are still unknown.
