On May 28, 2002, personnel from the Guta District Political and Judiciary Committee arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Ling from Jinzhou City. In October 2002, Li Ling was sent to the No. 3 Brigade in the Shenyang City Female Prison. Twenty days ago (in 2004) she started a hunger strike. She only weighs about 90 pounds and has recently suffered a mental collapse. Ms. Li has been sent to the prison hospital. Her life is in danger.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Xu Zhibin's Life is in Extreme Danger after Torture in the Wafangdian City Prison
Dafa practitioner Mr. Xu Zhibin from the Jinzhou District, Dalian City was sentenced to 14 years of prison. He is now being held at a team called "Directly Affiliated Division to the Criminal Section." He has been tortured so severely that he cannot eat normally and has only eaten four servings of instant noodles in one month.
Xu Zhibin had stomach cancer before he started to practice Falun Gong. We urgently call on kind people to rescue him.

3. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Ms. Jiao Yanqiao and Others
Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiao Yanqiao, in her 30s, lives at 33-2-302 in the Shimen Residential Area, Shijiazhuang City. She is a teacher from a school affiliated with the Shijiazhuang City Tractor Factory. The authorities fired her from her post because she continued to firmly practice Falun Gong and would not give in to the authorities and renounce Falun Gong. During the night of February 26, 2004, an elderly female practitioner who had been forced to live away from home visited her and spent the night at her home. Somebody probably followed this practitioner. The next morning, when Jiao Yanqiao's son opened the door to go to school, suddenly, more than 20 policemen forced their way in and arrested Jiao Yanqiao and the elderly practitioner. They also ransacked Ms. Jiao's home. The policemen were probably from the Yuhua Police Station and the Huaidi Police Station.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Personnel from the "610 Office" Stake Out the Home of Detained Dafa Practitioners In Order to Trap Other Practitioners Coming to Care for Their Two Young Daughters Left At Home
After Dafa practitioners Mr. Yang Zhu and Ms. Fang Jing's two daughters, Ms. Yang Xinyu and Ms. Fang Nanjie, published an article on Clearwisdom.net ("Mom and Dad, Please Come Back Home Soon" -- An Open Letter From Two Young Sisters in Chengdu City Calling for the Rescue of Their Parents, http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/1/7/43873.html, published on January 7, 2004), fellow practitioners helped them with money and food. However, personnel from the "610 Office"(1) began to stake out the area around their home to arrest those practitioners who had come to help the sisters. At present, at least one practitioner was arrested while bringing money. He was released because the personnel from the "610 Office" could not find any evidence against him. We hope that fellow practitioners will maintain righteous thoughts and use their wisdom to help these children without putting their safety at risk.
5. [Heishui County, Sichuan Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Rao Qiong
Dafa practitioner Ms. Rao Qiong was an employee of the Heishui County Agriculture and Farming Bureau. She started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998, and has been living up to the standards of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance." She is steadfast in her practice of Falun Dafa. At midnight on February 10, 2004, more than a dozen officers from the Heishui County Police Department broke into her home. They deceived Ms. Rao into going to the police department, "to validate something," and then detained her at the County Detention Center where she is still being held.
6. [Hongya County, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Qiao Ying Is Unconstitutionally Sentenced to Forced Labor; Practitioner Yang Qihui is Forced to Leave Home
Practitioner Mr. Qiao Ying from Hongya County in Sichuan Province was arrested while distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials. He was transported to the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor.
Practitioner Ms. Yang Qihui has suffered from long-time persecution and was forced to leave her home in order to avoid unlawful arrest.
7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] "610" Personnel Arrest Practitioner Wu Qingshun
Practitioner Mr. Wu Qingshun is from the Taiping Village, Taiping Town, Daoli District, Harbin City. On February 13, 2004, personnel from the Daoli District "610 Office" and officers from the Taiping Town Police Precinct arrested Wu Qingshun while he was making Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Wu Qingshun's home was ransacked and it was said that he was detained at the Daoli District Detention Center.

On February 28, 2004, practitioner Mr. Wang Mingjiang from Jiaozhou City was arrested when he went downtown on business. The police had tapped his telephone and followed him.

10. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Arrest of Practitioners Niu Yumin, Zhang Yuying and Fan Guofen
On February 24, 2004, officers from the Shulan City Police Department and the Lianhua Township Police Precinct arrested practitioners Niu Yumin, Zhang Yuying and Fan Guofen as they were clarifying the facts of Falun Dafa and the persecution. The practitioners are being detained at the Shulan City Detention Center.
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Huang Xin Is Sentenced to Eight Years in Prison
Practitioner Ms. Huang Xin, about 50 years old, was an employee of the Railroad Transportation Employee's Hospital. In November 2003, officers from the Heping Police Precinct, in collusion with Ms. Huang's work unit, arrested Ms. Huang. She is presently being detained at the Dabei Prison and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Ms. Huang's health has deteriorated to the extent that that she cannot get up from bed.

12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Zhang Weidi
On about February 24, 2004, when Dafa practitioners Ms. Zhang Weidi, over 40 years old, and Ms. Zhao Liping and her child, a fifth-grade primary school student, were distributing truth-clarifying videos, officers from the Shenhe Police Precinct arrested them. Ms. Zhang Weidi is presently being held at the Shenyang City Detention Center. The policemen illegally searched Ms. Zhang's house and confiscated her safe.

13. [Shandong Province] Persecution against Dafa Practitioner Wang Famao and His Family Members
In the middle of September 2002, policemen arrested Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Famao from Putou Brigade, Taolin Township, Zhucheng City, Shandong Province. Seven or eight policemen participated in the unlawful arrest. They grabbed Mr. Wang by the hair, hit his head against the wall and beat and kicked him until he was bloody all over. Then they threw him into a police vehicle. They also confiscated all of Mr. Wang's property. Once in the detention center, Mr. Wang Famao remained steadfast and suffered all kinds of tortures. The policemen said that he never gave up his belief, no matter how brutal the torture was. The police denied all requests for visits from Mr. Wang's family members.
On about July 20, 2003, Wang Famao was transferred to the Weibei Forced Labor Camp. In order to obtain information about other Dafa practitioners, policemen from Jiaonan City went to Mr. Wang's home several times and detained his wife and little daughter, who was about five or six years old, at the Jiaonan City Dachang Police Precinct. During the latest of these unconstitutional detentions, the policemen didn't offer food or water to the mother and daughter. In addition, they went so far as to extort 3,000 yuan (2) from them. Not until the hungry little daughter kept crying from being famished, did the policemen send them back home. However, plainclothes policemen are keeping their home under surveillance.
14. [Jilin Province] Extended Detention Terms of Dafa Practitioner Liu Changyou at the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Liu Changyou is detained at Jilin Province's Jiutai Forced Labor Camp. On September 12, 2001, Mr. Liu was sentenced to two years of forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. Because he refused to give up the practice of Falun Gong, his detention term was unreasonably extended many times. Although Mr. Liu's two-year term has already expired, the police still have not released him.
