(Clearwisdom.net) I am an ordinary citizen from Changde City, Hunan Province, China. In 2002, my eldest son lost his job. In order to survive, our family went through a lot of trouble to buy a taxi. We got all the registrations done, but soon after, the car was stolen. We went to the local police station to report the loss at once. Later, the car was involved in an accident and was seized by the local transportation police. When my son and I found out, we went there to claim the car. The police refused to give it back to us. We had to write a letter to appeal to the local Party Secretary of the Administration Office of Politics and Law. After conducting an investigation, they refused to return the car to us and nothing else was mentioned.
The darkness and corruption of the society infuriated me. I planned to appeal to each level of government right up to the top and prepared to adopt an extreme approach -- if the matter could not be resolved properly, I would die with them.
A Falun Gong practitioner found out about my situation and told me not to do it. As soon as she sat beside me, I don't know why, but I did not feel the anger, uneasiness and sadness anymore. I felt very calm and comfortable. She explained several times in detail about the issue of killing written in Chapter 7 of Zhuan Falun.
Gradually, I came to my senses. I learned some of the principles of the Fa and that killing is a sin. I should not harm others or myself because of one momentary thought. I did not do anything extreme and got through that period with rationality.
Today, I want to thank to Master Li Hongzhi, who saved me. I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, but I want to shout out: "Falun Dafa is great."
