(Clearwisdom.net) After Teacher's new articles "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts" and "Eliminate the Dark Minions With Righteous Thoughts" were published, some people have stopped their wrongdoings, more worldly people have awakened, and more sentient beings have been saved. The dark minions have been exposed to the Falun Dafa disciples. Knowing that their destiny is disintegration, the dark minions have become more brutal and more out in the open. Many practitioners can feel this from various large and small events happening in their surroundings.
Teacher explained in "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference":
"Question: Whenever we make significant progress in Fa-rectification, some ordinary events always come up suddenly to interfere. For example, the "9-11" incident, the shuttle accident, the Iraq issue, the [North] Korea issue, and so on. How should we view this interference?
Teacher: That's right. Why do those countries that uphold justice turn a blind eye to the Chinese government's persecution of such a large number of grassroots people who are part of the mainstream society? Why do they keep silent? There are reasons on their part, but there's also interference arranged by the old forces, who keep them busy with those terrorists. That's why terrorists surface every now and then, distract them from time to time, and prevent them from focusing on the true purpose of their existence."
From the perspective of Fa-principles, current world affairs, including the frequent terrorist attacks around the time of the opening of the 60th UN Human Rights Commission conference, the conflict on Diaoyu Island, the election disturbance in Taiwan, the shakeup in the South Korean government, and other big events or media focuses around the world-- all of these events are interference in the Fa-rectification.
They interfere with the real meaning of the lives of the people of the world -- namely, that they came for the Fa. At present, the members of Jiang's group are being sued in many countries around the world. The dark minions have adopted many ways to create counter-momentum and to interfere.
In particular, the faster the lawsuits against Jiang's regime push forward in Taiwan, South Korea, and the United States, the more the dark minions attempt to interfere and create chaos on the surface to divert the world's attention. To divert the attention of the people in China, the Chinese government had its state-run media report on a massive scale on the conflict of Diaoyu Island, the elections of Taiwan, the terrorism in Iraq, the confrontation between Israel and Palestine, and other terrorist acts around the world, so as to interfere with the vision and thinking of the public and to cover up and evade the major issue in Mainland China--the issue of Falun Gong and human rights.
The dark minions' purpose in creating many events around the world is to interfere with Fa-rectification. We must correctly recognize this, and look at problems from the perspective of Dafa at all times, not be deluded, interfered with, or moved by the false images, and face everything with righteous thoughts. Teacher said:
"Let me put it this way: if you have a certain amount of energy, the words you say have an effect, and if something isn't supposed to be one way, your words might make it that way for the person, and then maybe you've done a bad thing." (Zhuan Falun).
Whenever there is a problem, we should first look within ourselves to see if we are moved along by the superficial phenomena of world affairs. We should examine the problems existing in our xinxing (heart or mind nature, moral character) to see if the few human notions still existing within ourselves is taking effect. If the xinxing of Dafa disciples is moved by ordinary human notions and if we treat world affairs with an ordinary human mindset, we may exacerbate those affairs.
As for the 60th UN Human Rights Commission conference, we should treat it from the perspective of Fa principles and do as Teacher always teaches us to do. As Falun Dafa disciples, we cannot place our hopes in particular persons or events in the world. Wherever problems occur, it is not just the Dafa disciples of that particular region or country who need to look within themselves for reasons; all Dafa disciples as a whole need to look inside for the reasons. Actually, if we study Teacher's new article, "Eliminate the Dark Minions With Righteous Thoughts," we may learn the reason and how to do better.
I would like to mention some incidents I experienced. The small wristwatch we used to time our sending forth righteous thought broke down four times. Our children did not come to the dinner table when it was meal time, or did not do their homework when it was time for them to do so. Instead, they indulged themselves in TV programs or play. Sometimes, I would criticize the children. They would not be happy about it, and I would lose my temper. As a result, both children and parents were not happy. Oftentimes, I would not be able to calm down to study the Fa or do the exercises. This would interfere with doing things in Fa-rectification and waste a lot of time. Now, after studying Teacher's Fa lectures and articles in connection with my personal experience, I realized that the underlying cause is the interference of dark minions. When we first look within ourselves for reasons and then disintegrate the evil factors acting behind the scene with righteous thought, many things start to turn better. Therefore, when there is conflict, we should first look within ourselves for omissions and then disintegrate all the dark minions and rotten demons. We should be kind and pleasant to other human beings on the surface layer. In addition, we should always remember:
"I'm Li Hongzhi's disciple, I don't want other arrangements or acknowledge them"--then they won't dare to do that. So it can all be resolved. When you can really do that, not just saying it but putting it into action, Master will definitely stand up for you" in (Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference).
If we do this, whenever and wherever, according to the Fa taught by our Teacher, we will do everything well.
