1. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Please Help to Rescue Dafa Practitioner Zhang Yaqiong
Hearsay has circulated all throughout Chengdu City since around October 2003 regarding Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Yaqiong. She was illegally put into a forced labor camps twice. Rumors are that Ms. Zhang had been released and "reformed" due to inhumane torture she experienced at the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp. Officials from police precincts and also some street committee agents often went to Falun Gong practitioners' homes to spread such rumors. They also showed a made-up "repentance statement (1)" from her.
Recently, a fellow practitioner provided evidence that one person who was just released from the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp had seen Zhang Yaqiong there before the 2004 Spring Festival. At that time, the over 50-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Yaqiong had been on a long-term hunger strike and was almost at her last gasp of breath.
In addition, Dafa practitioner Gao Yonghui, who lives in the Fuqin District, and teacher Luo, who lives at Southwest Jiaotong University, were arrested on June 3, 2003. They are still being illegally detained at Bei County's Detention Center, even though their detention terms have already expired.
2. [Liaoning Province] Several Dafa Materials Production Centers in the Jinzhou District and the Chaoyang District Were Destroyed
Recently, many Dafa practitioners in Jinzhou City, Chaoyang City and Huludao City in the Liaoxi area have been arrested, and several Dafa materials production centers were destroyed. It was said that the video "Wishing Master a Happy New Year" was also confiscated. Dafa practitioners Jiang Wei from Chaoyang City, Yang Hong from Huludao City and Qu Wei from Jinzhou City were arrested that same day. Officials from the National Security Bureau took Jiang Wei away.
Prior to this arrest, many fellow practitioners from Shenyang City were also arrested. Mr. Shao Minggang, who used to keep in touch with these arrested practitioners, has been put on the province's "wanted" list. Fortunately he was away when policemen went to his home to arrest him. An Internet center, which was in close proximity to Shao, was also destroyed and the equipment confiscated.
3. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Zhang Jihong Is on a Hunger Strike at the Huludao Forced Labor Camp and Is Force-Fed with Filthy Food
Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Jihong from Suizhong County, Huludao City, lives in Baozhuang Village, Fanjia Township. On January 2, 2004, someone reported Zhang Jihong when he distributed truth-clarifying materials at Baozhuang Village. He was eventually detained at Suizhong County's Detention Center. Thirteen days later he was sentenced to three years of forced labor at Huludao City's Forced Labor Camp. It was learned recently that to protest the illegal detention, Zhang Jihong has been on a hunger strike for several days. Some prisoners force-fed him daily by injecting food through a nasal tube. The prisoners mashed instant noodles into powder on the ground and then added water to make the "food," which was very dirty. Lawless policemen in the forced labor camp have now announced that Falun Gong practitioners on hunger strikes are against the government and would be sentenced to five years of imprisonment or have their detention terms at the Guanshanzi Forced Labor Camp extended by one year.

4. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhao Zhong and Others
At the end of March 2004, policemen arrested several Dafa practitioners, including Mr. Zhao Zhong from Shenyang City, from his home.
5. [Beining City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Several Dafa Practitioners
At 10:00 a.m. on April 2, 2004, policemen from Beining City, Jinzhou City, Linghai City and Dalian City broke the window of a Dafa materials production center to gain entry. They arrested six Dafa practitioners and confiscated all of the equipment there. The six Dafa practitioners are Jin Jiting (Panjin City), Qi Fengjie (also called Xiaohong, from Linghai City), Wang Ruiqi (Huludao City), Meng Lingtao (Dalian City), Jin Junli (Beining City) and Yan Suqing (Linghai City). Now these practitioners staged a hunger strike to protest the persecution at Beining City's Detention Center. Yan Suqing was detained at the Linghai City Detention Center.
At the same time, policemen broke into Dafa practitioner Zhang Baoyun's and Jin Junli's house in Beining City, searched their houses and forcibly took them away. It was learned that Jin Junli's TV set, recorder and VCD were confiscated. According to reliable sources, Jinzhou City's "610 Office" (2) members had participated in this unlawful arrest.
On April 2, 2004, policemen again broke into Dafa practitioner Meng Guiqiu's house in Goubangzi Town, Beining City to arrest him. They confiscated a CD writer, some CDs and Dafa books. At the same time, Dafa practitioners Ma Xishan and Li Qingda were arrested and detained at Beining City's Detention Center. Persons from Jinzhou City's "610 Office" also participated in this arrest.

6. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Arrest of Wang Yuqin and Two Other Dafa Practitioners While Distributing Truth-clarifying Materials
On April 3, 2004, Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yuqin from the Guancheng District, Zhengzhou City and two other practitioners were arrested when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Gouzhao Township. They are currently being detained at Zhengzhou City's Western Development District.
7. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Arrest of Three Dafa Practitioners at the Hands of Xiahuai Town's Police Precinct Perpetrators
Dafa practitioners Mr. Han Jiancheng, his wife Han Sanmei and Mr. Feng Qiang from Luojiahui Village, Xiahuai Town, Pingshan County, Hebei Province, were reported when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Xibaipo Village, Pingshan County on March 25. 8. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Several Dafa Practitioners Are Arrested When They Purchase Equipment
It was reported that in the beginning of March 2004, two older practitioners from Xili Village, Shijiazhuang City, were followed when they went to purchase equipment. They were arrested and their houses were searched.
9. [Hebei Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Wang Huajun on around March 18
Ms. Wang Huajun is an employee from the South Freight Area, Shijiazhuang City's Railway Station. She used to have severe leukemia and her life was in danger, but after practicing Falun Gong for only three months, she could go back to work. After the Jiang regime started to persecute Falun Gong, she went to Beijing many times to appeal for Falun Gong, and the "610 Office" personnel persecuted her frequently. She was forced to leave home and live in exile. At the end of 2001, Railway Police arrested her in the street and put her into a brainwashing class at Hebei Province's Capital. She staged a hunger strike for six days and was not released until she was at her last gasp of breath. On March 20, 2004, Wang Huajun and her Dafa practitioner mother were both arrested at home. It is said that Wang Huajun's work unit bailed her out one day after her latest arrest. The whereabouts of her mother are to be investigated.

10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioners Couple Zhang Dianrong and His Wife are Held at Daowai District's National Security Team
During the morning of March 23, 2004, personnel from Daowai District's Chongjian Police Station arrested 60-year-old Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Dianrong while he was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong to people. The police then ransacked his home and arrested his wife, Dafa practitioner Ms. Yuan Shumin. At present, both are being held at Daowai District's National Security Team. The detailed situation is yet unknown.

11. [Jingxing County, Hebei Province] Three-Year Prison Sentence for Dafa Practitioner Pan Lizhu; Practitioner Li Suping is Put into a Brainwashing Class
Practitioner Ms. Li Suping is an employee of Jingxing County's Bank for Agricultural Development. A colleague of hers who doesn't know the truth of Falun Gong reported her to police while she was putting up Dafa truth-clarifying materials. On February 22, 2004, officials from the Provincial Bank for Agricultural Development and officials from her work unit collaborated with Jingxing County's "610 Office" and sent Li Suping to Hebei Province's brainwashing class.
Prior to this arrest, personnel from Jingxing County's "610 Office" had arrested Dafa practitioners Pan Lizhu and Zhang Huaiqing. Pan Lizhu was sentenced to three years of imprisonment only because she was determined to practice Dafa and refused to give in to the authorities. She is now held at the No.2 Prison.

12. [Ningjin County, Hebei Province] Shen Jianzhong and Others from the Political & Security Section Arrest Dafa Practitioners
It's said that on March 29 and 30, 2004, Shen Jianzhong from Ningjin County's Political & Security Section participated in arresting the Dafa practitioner couple Mr. and Mrs. Yuan Shuang. The Dafa practitioner couple Mr. Xue Zengjun and Ms. Jin Xiu from Caochang Village, Leijiazhuang Township, Dalucun Town, were arrested during the evening of March 30, 2004.
13. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Four Dafa Practitioners Secretly Sentenced to Three Years of Imprisonment
On March 31 (or April 1), 2004, the Hanyang District Court secretly sentenced Dafa practitioners Wang Jinsong, Wu Zhiqiang, Liu Qingshui and Zhang Quanshui to three years of imprisonment. Song Gang and Zhang Quanhao, who turned against Dafa under torture and brainwashing, and others, were sentenced to three years of imprisonment with four years reprieve.
Practitioner Wang Jinsong and others were arrested in March 2003 while distributing truth-clarifying materials. Prior to this, Wang Jinsong, Wu Zhiqiang, Liu Qingshui, and Zhang Quanshui had been sentenced to forced labor and one year later this was changed to "reform of criminals through labor."
14. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Xing Shenghui
Mr. Xing Shenghui, a teacher from the Beibailou Primary School in Pingshan Town, Pingshan County, was forced to leave home during the winter last year. It was because of Li Hongwei and other personnel from the County Education Bureau. His exile happened only because he persists in cultivating Dafa and refused to write the so-called "Guarantee Statement (3)." In order to hunt Mr. Xing Shenghui down, some officials from Pingshan County's Education Bureau and from the Education Group sent out groups of people to put up roadblocks and stake out at some places to capture Mr. Xing. They spent tens of thousands of yuan [500 Yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China.] but failed to find him. Later on, these people went to Mr. Xing's home and duped his family members into getting Xing back and promised they wouldn't do anything to him. Mr. Xing's parents believed them. On March 24, 2004, a few days after Mr. Xing got back home, personnel from Pingshan County's Education Bureau, from the police station and the "610 Office" suddenly broke in and took him away. He is now held at Pingshan County's Detention Center.

15. [Chongqing] Dafa Practitioner Chen Changjun Arrested; His Wife Lives in Exile
A person named Liu Zhixing reported Dafa practitioners Mr. Chen Changjun and his wife to police while they were printing Teacher's new articles in Chongqing City's No. 18 High School. As a result, Chen Changjun was arrested and his wife was forced to leave home and live in exile.

16. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] More than 40 Male Dafa Practitioners are Held at Harbin City's Prison
The Harbin City Prison used to be called Harbin City's No. 3 Prison. At present, more than 40 male Dafa practitioners are being held here. The former Harbin Falun Gong volunteer assistants Mr. Li Hongkui, Mr. Wu Hongzhu and lecturer Lv Mengxin from the North-Eastern University of Forestry are all held there.
Recently, personnel at Harbin City's Prison force Falun Gong practitioners to write the so-called "Expose and Denounce Statement" against Falun Gong. Those who refuse to write would be physically punished - forced to stand for a long time, deprived of sleep, forced to stand in a small pool filled with water, have sharp bamboo sticks hammered into their fingers, being locked up in solitary confinement and other physical and mental abuses.
17. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Persecution Accounts of Dafa Practitioners Sun Fengqin and Shan Juanfeng
During the evening of September 16, 2003, policeman Sun Zhizhong from the Beiji Police Station, Chuanying District, arrested Dafa practitioners Ms. Sun Fengqin and Ms. Shan Juanfeng from Jilin City. Police confiscated 51 truth-clarifying tapes, 288 disks, 1,000 copies of Teacher's articles, a photocopier, a recorder and a VCD from Sun Fengqin's home. They even confiscated the recorder and VCD that were for personal use. Police confiscated 10 tapes and 21 discs from Shan Juanfeng's home. They forced the practitioners' family members to sign an unspecified confiscation document. Later on, the police made up a number and charged the practitioners with made-up crimes. At the same time, personnel from the Beiji Police Station extorted money from practitioners' families for a "photo fee, materials fee and transportation fee," but didn't provide any receipts.
