Righteous Thoughts Righteous Actions

On the morning of May 30, 2004, the Jinchuan District Court of Jinchang City, Gansu Province prepared to put Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Dexiang and Zhao Fenglian on trial. Some fellow practitioners went to send forth righteous thoughts before the scheduled hearing. More than ten Falun Dafa practitioners entered the courthouse that morning and more than twenty others stayed nearby to send forth righteous thoughts. When the trial started, all the Falun Dafa practitioners inside the court shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Falun Dafa is Righteous!" Practitioners inside and outside the court formed a very strong righteous energy field. The Judge made several comments and declared the Court hearing adjourned. The court was to convene at another time. Dafa practitioners had successfully delayed this illegal court action.

Facts of the Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Haiqin from Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province was abducted by the County Government Political Security Office on May 25, 2004. She is being held in the County Detention Center and has been on a hunger strike for many days. Her son goes to the middle school but is home alone without anyone to care for him.

My name is Yu Suzhi (female), and I am a 47 year-old farmer from Xidongpo Village, Hetan Town, Hanting District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. My son Zhang Liang and I are both Falun Dafa practitioners. I went to Beijing three times in 2000 to appeal for Falun Dafa and was held three times in the detention center (30 days). While in detention, police ransacked my home twice and stole my family possessions. I was later abducted by them several times. On August 8 2003, my son Zhang Liang and I were both deceived into attending a brainwashing class held in Weifang City Industry Training School. We endured several days that were like being in hell. Upon returning, the police kept harassing me at home. We become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested. My son Zhang Liang was abducted on the evening of April 24 2004 while we were in hiding. He is currently detained in the Hanting District Detention Center. He is on a hunger strike and in a very serious situation.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Dongqi from Guan County, Shandong Province went to Beijing to appeal in October 2000. He was detained more than a month in a brainwashing program where he was tortured until he was severely sick. Thereafter, he was released to his children. He became destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally arrested at home. During this time, he also organized a Falun Dafa conference in May-June, 2001. During the past several years, the police continued to arrest and harass him, his friends and family by abductions, detentions, torture and extorting money from his family. He died in April 2003 due to mental and physical torture.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Shao Shuwen from Beichen District, Tianjin City is 45 years old. She was abducted on April 13, 2004, and is now in a detention center. Her daughter is home alone without any resources. In 2001, she started serving an illegal eighteen month sentence in the Banqiao Women's Labor Camp in Tianjin City and endured both mental and physical torture.

On April 10, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Dawei from Dehui City, Jilin Province went to visit a fellow practitioner, Ms. Wang Di. Another practitioner, Ms. Zhao Jianjuan, was also at Wang's home. Within a short time, policeman Ge Xuquan, etc., stormed the door, battering it with steel pipes, and attempting to break the lock. Under this severe situation, these three Falun Dafa practitioners jumped from the window, several stories up, resulting in one practitioner being paralyzed and the two others being disabled.

Fortune Came from Heaven--the Cultivation Experience of a Teacher in Taiwan:

I am a teacher in Taipei County and was a Christian. About two and a half years ago, the words "Falun Gong" flashed in my mind when I was praying. On January 5, 2002, I discovered the Clearwisdom and Pureinsight web sites and started reading Zhuan Falun and also found the location of the local group practice site. I benefited from the practice both mentally and physically. The most important result is that I am very happy and no longer suicidal. I knew that the Tiananmen Self-immolation was a fabrication, because it was Falun Gong that stopped me from committing suicide. It is impossible for Falun Gong to teach people to commit suicide! Soon after I learned Falun Gong, an elementary school teacher asked me to show her class the exercises during lunchtime. Many students felt very good. Their parents praised Falun Gong as miraculous, because of the positive effect it had on their children. One fellow practitioner was arrested last year when traveling to mainland China. I took the opportunity to clarify the truth of Falun Gong in the eighth grade classes. The students were angry about the persecution and all of them signed a petition supporting Falun Gong.

Taiwan Falun Dafa practitioners:

After thoroughly clarifying the truth to lawyers in Taiwan last year, we started clarifying the truth to Members of the Legislative Committee late in May. As soon as Mr. Huang saw our materials, before we opened our mouths, he said, "I will sign this letter of support. I am very clear on the Falun Gong issue." Another Member, Mr. Hou carefully read our material, and said, "I absolutely support Falun Gong's freedom of belief." He asked his staff to contact other Members and invite them all to come sign their names. At the same time, he personally telephoned other fellow Members. Mr. Qiu was a little tired and sick, but still came over and signed his name.

Good Is Rewarded With Good and Evil is Met With Karmic Retribution

-The Dianbaishuidong Town Secretary, Wang Guoxiang, (male) in Guangdong Province is specifically in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. He often sent his men to arrest practitioners or ransack their homes. He went home to Xiadong Town during the Chinese Labor Day Holidays on May 1. He suddenly felt numb when answering the phone and could not move. The town hospital determined that he had a stroke and was declared brain dead. He died on May 5^th and was cremated the following day.

-Villager Lei Huaxiong (male) of Shitang Village, Shiqiao Town, Jiahe County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province followed orders given him by the "610 Office." He diligently reported, abducted, and arrested local Falun Dafa practitioners. His older brother was killed in an auto accident in 2002, but he still closely monitored local practitioners and harassed them constantly. His father, Lei Siwa, suddenly died from cancer at the end of 2003.

-Retired teacher Zhang Xiangwen (male) from Xilou Village, Bianwu Township, Yanshan County, Hebei Province used to practice Falun Gong before July 20, 1999. He slandered Falun Dafa on TV against his own conscience and was never peaceful again. His health deteriorated; his abdomen was painful and bloated and he could no longer eat. His life was sustained by intravenous feeding. He could not lie down and wandered the streets aimlessly without the strength to even lift his hands.

-Villager Zhang (male) in Liutan Village, Mengchun County, Hebei Province was in his 40s. He bragged at work that he collected Falun Dafa truth clarifying flyers left by practitioners in doors whenever he could and used them as bathroom tissue. He was killed by a car during the 2004 Chinese New Year holiday.

-Police Chief Lu Zaolin (male) in Hongan County, Hubei Province is notorious for his persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. He is under investigation by the County Discipline Committee because of his financial corruption, especially in his extortion of money from Falun Dafa practitioners by using only blank paper slips as receipts.
