Proclamation of Falun Dafa Month, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana [June 1, 2004]

Proclamation

Whereas, Falun Dafa is based on the characteristic of truthfulness, compassion and forbearance and emphasizes moral value and health improvement; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa consists of gentle exercises and meditation; and

Whereas, This practice has been credited in helping people overcome addictions, encouraging peace in families and improving the atmosphere of communities; and

Whereas, The United States government has recognized Falun Dafa' contribution to humanity;

Now, Therefore, I, Graham Richard, Mayor of the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, do hereby proclaim the month of June, 2004, as

Fort Wayne Falun Dafa Month

And encourage all citizens to recognizing the practice and benefits of Falun Dafa.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Office of Mayor, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana to be affixed this 1^st day of June 2004.
