The editor told this friend who practices Falun Gong, "I have experienced this before. During the Cultural Revolution, good people were made to accept forced labor that attempted to "reform" them. The present situation is actually very bleak, yet they claimit to be 'the best of times.' They label good people who practice Falun Gong as bad people. This is just like the Cultural Revolution era!
