(Clearwisdom.net) On July 10, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners took part in the traditional South Shore Water Parade in the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This year marked the 75th anniversary of this celebration. It is also the second time for practitioners from Mid-USA to participate in this parade. Last year, when practitioners attended the parade for the first time, their healthy outlook and well prepared float won the Best Appearing Unit award.
About 50 practitioners from Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota participated in this parade. Practitioners' exercise demonstration procession, float, lotus flower dance procession, waist drum troupe and banners with words, "Falun Dafa" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" were warmly received. Spectators applauded them. Especially, after a set of exercise demonstration, some citizens even stood up and cheered. Some said to practitioners who distributed flyers, "We support you!" Practitioners' procession once again left a wonderful impression to Milwaukee people.
