(Clearwisdom.net) One fellow practitioner told me his cultivation story, which I have shared on different occasions. Several other practitioners asked that I put it into writing and share the story with everyone:
There is a practitioner in Taiwan who does very well at producing informational materials. The workload is pretty heavy, but he tries very hard to do a good job. Since he does so well at it, practitioners frequently ask for his help in various matters, gradually increasing his burden. His workload increased even more when another practitioner who works with him in the materials production got very relaxed for a period of time.
One day when this practitioner was feeling extremely pressured, he began complaining that he couldn't complete his work, that the other practitioner who worked with him was somewhat irresponsible and that his own workload was unreasonably heavy. During the time when he felt the worst about it, he had a dream in which our Teacher showed him a contract that he had signed. Teacher pointed to each item on the contract, then to his signature beside each one, and told him that he was doing the things that he had contracted to do, and that he wasn't doing anything more than his own share of responsibilities. (This is all that he remembered of the dream).
When he awakened from the dream, he felt extremely ashamed. He said he realized that there is nothing which happens by accident. While on the surface it may have seemed like he contributed a great deal, in actuality everything that he shouldered was his own share of responsibilities. He was not helping his practitioner friend; it was the other way around, which is to say that his practitioner friend was really helping him.
From then on, he tried very hard to do a good job whenever practitioners asked him to do more work for Dafa. Many times, when he felt that the work involved a certain level of difficulty, he would then diligently study the Fa (1) to ensure that he possessed a generous heart. He now feels that whatever tasks fall upon his shoulders might be tasks that he vowed to perform in history, so he tries very hard to do them well.
