The Falun Gong practitioners' procession was the ninth group in the parade lineup. A practitioner decorated his own car as a "Fa boat" to lead the procession. The words "Falun Dafa" were displayed around the vehicle. On the car there was a practitioner wearing an exercise suit, and three wearing Tang dynasty style costumes. When the "boat" moved forward, the audience applauded and spoke outloud the words "Falun Dafa." They also waved the Canadian flag at the practitioners. Some audience members had their photos taken with the "Boat."
Next in the procession was a large banner with the words "Falun Dafa" in gold, and a large model of the book Zhuan Falun, followed by a large float, on which eight practitioners demonstrated the exercises. After the float, came the practitioners' dancing team. At the end of the procession were the Minghui School students.
At the destination of the parade, practitioner Ms. Li's friend came and said, "Your parade entry is wonderful and magnificent."
During the whole parade, practitioners explained the facts of Falun Dafa in English and French through loud speakers. The practitioners distributing flyers were busy. Some audience members took several more for their friends. Many Chinese people accepted the flyers.
A practitioner's mother recently came to Canada and participated in the parade. She said, "In China, there was propaganda against Falun Gong. I was not sure it was true or false. So I worried about my son's safety... Now I know many countries in the world support Falun Gong. Practitioners are all so kind. I am relieved."
