1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Jinguang Detained at Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp Past the Expiration of His Term
Mr. Zhang Jinguang is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Liangjiashan Township of Shulan City. By late 2001, he had been sentenced to two years of forced labor for validating Falun Dafa in Beijing. The term initially imposed on him should have expired on January 8, 2004. However, he is still detained at Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province.
In late January 2004, when Zhang Jinguang's disabled wife and 13-year-old daughter visited him at the forced labor camp, they saw that several of Zhang Jinguang's front teeth were missing and that deep scars were left on his forehead as a result of repeated beatings. Since his wife is disabled, Zhang Jinguang's family members are currently unable to support themselves.

2. [Luoding City, Guangdong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Abducted
On the evening of June 19, 2004, a practitioner from Shengjiang Town in Luoding City was abducted while distributing truth-clarifying materials. At around 3:00 a.m. the next day, Liang Hanqiang from the Luoding Public Security Bureau, together with some policemen from the Police Substation of another town, Shenggang, arrested a practitioner named Aping at her home without any justification. As of a couple of days ago, she was still detained at the local detention house.

3. [Yintong County, Jilin Province] Police Frantically Retaliate Against Falun Dafa Practitioners
Ms. Guo Chunyan, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Yintong County was abducted on April 27, 2004. With righteous thoughts, she escaped from the clutches of evil, after which she exposed the persecution of detained Falun Dafa practitioners, which caused the police to frantically retaliate. On June 2, 2004, the police once again arrested Guo Chunyan and unjustifiably took her to the detention center. Officer Zhou, from the Zhengyang Street Police Substation, while holding the notice of Guo's forced labor sentence, cruelly remarked, "You cannot leave this time. See? Here is your notice of forced labor." Guo Chunyan walked up to him, grabbed the notice and tore it into pieces. In return, Zhou violently slapped her across the face.
Guo Chunyan then solemnly warned him, "I'll sue you for sure."
Zhou replied deviously, "Who would be your witness?"
"Everyone here saw it," Guo Chunyan said calmly. The police later took her to the forced labor camp, but due to the unqualified medical examination results, the labor camp refused to accept her.
Righteous thoughts enabled Ms. Song Shuqin, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Sandao Township, to also walk out from the den of evil.
4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Kong Weihua Arrested
At 4:30 p.m. on June 24, 2004, police from the local substation (86-432-4918301) and agents of the Jilin City "610 Office"(1) arrested Kong Weihua, a practitioner living on Yula Street in the Longtan District of Jilin City. The police confiscated the computer, printer and other personal belongings without justification.
5. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Li Yanhua and Gao Junhua Are Abducted
Ms. Li Yanhua, in her fifties, lives on Zhangjia Street in Gongzhuling City. On the evening of June 2, 2004, Jiang Wei, head of the National Security Bureau in Gongzhuling City, together with officers from the local police substation, abducted Ms. Li.
Also on June 2, Deputy Director Zhang Fufeng of the Gongzhuling Public Security Bureau and political instructor Jiang Hua, arrested Ms. Gao Junhua, a 56-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner.

6. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Chen Xiangming and He Jichun Are Arrested Multiple Times
On May 15, 2004, Chen Xiangming and He Jichun, two practitioners from Shehong County, were betrayed by informants and then arrested while explaining the truth of Falun Dafa in local rural areas. They are currently being held at a local detention center. It is the fourth detainment for Chen Mingxiang and the fifth for He Jichun.

7. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Li Mingwei Is Arrested at Home
On April 26, 2004, Guangzhou practitioner Li Mingwei was abducted at home, and is currently detained at Dongshan District Detention Center. Li Mingwei was the first practitioner to walk out of Chatou Forced Labor Camp in Guangzhou City using righteous thoughts in late 2001.
8. [Jishu City, Jilin Province] Coal Miner Practitioner Zhang Xiuqin Detained
On the morning of June 14, 2004, Jishu Coal Mine Police Substation Director Wang and Officer Liu Xueyi arrested Ms. Zhang Xiuqin from the Jishu Coal Mine. They also illegally searched Zhang's home. Zhang was taken to Shulan Detention Center, where police officers beat her because she resisted the persecution by refusing to have her photo taken. As a result, her arms and legs are black and swollen from bruises.

9. [Jishu City, Jilin Province] Practitioners Wang Shumei and Guan Yusheng Abducted
On the morning of June 16, 2004, policemen from Fengguang Coal Mine including Officers Sun Jiku, Li Haisheng, Yin Jifang, "Zhang" and the Assistant Chief of Police searched female practitioner Wang Shumei and the home of practitioner Guang Yusheng without any justification. Although the police found no evidence of truth-clarifying materials, they nevertheless took the practitioners to the detention center, on the accusation that they had been practicing Falun Dafa.
10. [Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province] Three More Falun Dafa Practitioners Are Arrested
Since three Qinzhou City practitioners were abducted on June 3, 2004, including Ms. Liao Ruping, Ms. Ma Xiaohong and Ms. Ma Xiaojuan, three additional practitioners were arrested recently, one of which is Ms. Jiang Weiling. The names of the two other practitioners are unknown.
11. [Tianjin City] Rural Practitioner Zhang Hanping Is Detained
Zhang Hanping is a rural worker from Huangkou Town, in the Wuqing District of Tianjin City. In April 2004, he was betrayed by informants and subsequently arrested while making truth-clarifying materials in Dakoutun Town, in the Baodi District. He is currently detained at Baodi Detention Center, awaiting a prison sentence.
