1. [Jilin Province] Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp Extend the Detention of Practitioners Who Refuse to Renounce Falun Dafa
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Guo Lifu of Lushuihe, Baishan City, Jilin Province is being detained at the No. 4 Division of the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp. His term of detention is overdue but the forced labor camp extended it because he refused to write the so-called Three Statements. The camp said it would not release him if he refused to break with Falun Gong.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Dalian Police Attempt to Arrest Yang Chuanjun's Mother and Wife
On September 1, 2004, seven or eight policemen attempted to arrest Yang Chuanjun's mother and his wife (both Falun Dafa practitioners). They refused to open the door and sent forth righteous thoughts. As a result the policemen's plot failed. Afterward, four plain-clothes policemen were waiting outside Yang's house and again attempted to arrest them.
Yang Chuanjun is a Falun Dafa practitioner who has been on hunger strike for over two months in Dalian City Prison. He endured tremendous pain and cruel torture before his family was allowed to visit.
3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners Mr. Han Jingdang and His Wife Arrested
Mr. Han Jingdang and his wife are Dafa practitioners from Fushun City, Liaoning Province. On the evening of April 14, 2004, the couple was arrested by the police from the Jiangjun Police Station, Shuncheng District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Their actual situation is still unknown pending further investigation.
4. [Chongqing City] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Peijin Arrested
Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Peijin was originally an employee of the No. Nine People's Hospital of Chongqing City. In mid-August 2004, Zhang was arrested at a Falun Dafa materials processing site together with some other practitioners. Zhang is now being detained at Dujiajie Detention Center in Beibei District and has been on a hunger strike for 8 days.
5. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Guiling Abducted from Home
At around 6 o'clock in the morning of August 31, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Guiling of No. 7 District, Shengou Temple in Anshan City, Liaoning Province, was taken away from home by the police. They ransacked her home and found some Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials. Ms. Wang is very steadfast and expressed her intention to continue practicing Dafa. Now she is being held at the Anshan City No. 3 Detention Center.
6. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Extend Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Yurong's Term and Torture Him More Severely
Falun Dafa practitioner Zhang Yurong is a doctor of the Benxi City Mental Hospital in Liaoning Province. Before the 2002 National People's Congress and the National People's Political Consultative Conference, Zhang was arrested at work for the second time and was sent to a brainwashing center in Weining Forced Labor Camp in Benxi City, Liaoning Province. He maintained his belief and refused to denounce Falun Dafa. As a result, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor with the No. 2 Team of the No. 2 Division of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. His term of detention expires in October of this year. Because of his firm belief in Falun Dafa, his detention has been extended for another half a year and the forced labor camp increased its torture of him. Due to the severity of his torture, Zhang is now skin and bones.

7. [Liaoning Province] Officials at the Liaohe Petroleum School Prohibit Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Sun Xiucheng from Going to Work
An employee of the Liaohe Petroleum School, Mr. Sun Xiucheng, was sentenced to three years of forced labor for practicing Falun Dafa. After his term of detention expired he asked to go back to work, however, the Party Secretary of the school, Ding Zhuangqiu, and Principle Wang Zhengdong told him, if you continue to practice Falun Gong and refuse to renounce your belief you cannot come back to work. They also said, "we will give you some time and we want to persuade you to give up your beliefs in Falun Gong, otherwise we will send you to a new transformation class in Fushun City."

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ha Jianhua Detained
On the afternoon of August 2, 2004, Weifang Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ha Jianhua was arrested by the Nanyuan Sub-district Office and the policemen from the Sub-district Office Police Station and sent to a detention center where he went on a hunger strike for 5 days in protest against his illegal detention. However, he was barbarically forced-fed several times. Then, unwilling to take responsibility the detention center sent him back to the Nanyuan Sub-district Office. The office sent Mr. Ha to a brainwashing class and it is attempting to fabricate some documents to send him to a forced labor camp.
9. [Liaoning Province] Policemen from the Jinzhou Oil Production Factory of the Liaohe Oil Field Detain Two Falun Dafa Practitioners
On the morning of August 12, 2004, police officer Hong Wei and others at the Police Section of the Jinzhou Oil Production Factory, Liaohe Oil Field broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ma Cunhua's home and ransacked it. Then, Hong Wei and his men deceived Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Yubao of the transport Section of the factory into going to the police station and then threatened to ransack his house. After that the police sent these two Falun Dafa practitioners to Liaohe Oil Field Detention Center.
Since August, the Jinzhou Oil Production Factory has slandered and attacked Falun Dafa by using TV and newspapers.
10. [Liaoning Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Wu Jiaying Held at the Fushun Brainwashing Center
On June 22, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Qu Jiaying of the Goods and Materials Supply and Management Center of the Gaosheng Oil Production Factory of Liaohe Oil Field was arrested and sent to Fushun Brainwashing Center. Wu firmly opposed the persecution. At present he continues to practice Falun Gong. For refusing to denounce Falun Dafa Qu is now being held at the brainwashing center.
