1. [Macheng, Hubei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and Their Homes Searched
In September 2004, Falun Gong practitioners of Macheng, Hubei Province held an experience-sharing conference, but they were reported to the police. Because the person who made the report took down the license plate number of the practitioner's motorcycle, Mr. Li Jinjun was arrested by the city's public security bureau, and they extorted 8,000 yuan from his family.
On October 19, 2004, Mr. Fu Guanghua from Fuzihe, Macheng City was abducted from his home and sent to the provincial brainwashing class to be brainwashed by the Fuzihe Police Substation.
In the morning on October 21, 2004, more than a dozen people from the National Security Team of the Macheng City Public Security Bureau and Fuzihe Police Substation went to Heiyunchongwan, Songjiabian Village, Fuzihe Town to search the practitioners' homes and arrest them. With the excuse of "holding a meeting with the practitioners," they broke into their homes without producing any relevant documentation or search warrants. They ransacked boxes and chests without hesitation and whenever they found Dafa materials, they arrested the practitioners. Mr. Dai Zhyihua and Mr. Cai Wanxi were arrested on the spot. At the Fuzihe Police Substation, they tortured and interrogated practitioners and beat them until they were black and blue. Afterwards, they detained practitioners at the Macheng Administrative Detention Center.

A married couple, Mr. and Ms. Wang Shurong, from Jiamushi City, Heilongjiang Province, were arrested by Nanyi Police Substation of Xianyang Public Security Sub-Bureau of Hegang City in July or August 2004. They are currently imprisoned at Hegang City No. 2 Labor Camp.
Ms. Yan Jinpo, a teacher from Dongshan Primary School, Dongshan District, Hegang City is over 30 years old. She resides at Yudian, Xianyang District. Simply because she talked to her students about being a good person by following "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and asked the students not to be deceived by the lies, on September 16, 2004, she was arrested by the public security bureau. Her home was searched and her computer was confiscated. Yan Jinbo's husband Mr. Leng Bin, also a practitioner over 30 years old, is a primary school teacher of Beishan Primary School, Xianyang District, Hegang City. The police attempted to arrest him as well, but failed. He had to flee from his home and now he must wander about. The couple's three-year-old daughter is currently being raised by her grandmother. Yan Jinbo is still imprisoned at Jiamushi City No. 2 Labor Camp.

4. [Yingcheng, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Jingyu, Lei Yanxia, and Chen Jiangyong Are Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Zhang Jingyu and Ms. Lei Yanxia from Shuanghuan Chemical Industry Group Co., Hubei Province were both arrested on July 24, 2004 by the Mahe Town Police Substation when they were clarifying the truth at a village of Mahe Town, Hanchuan City. Later they were jailed at Hanchuan No. 2 Labor Camp and No. 1 Labor Camp. They went on a hunger strike to protest against the persecution. Out of fear of shouldering any responsibility, the Hanchuan Labor Camp wanted to release them. However, the Shuanghuan Company did not agree with this. On the contrary, they fabricated materials and sentenced them to one year of forced labor.
Mr. Chen Jiangyong from Yingcheng City Salt Company of Hubei Province is 36 years old. On October 1, 2002, he went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing to validate Dafa. He shouted "Falun Dafa is great" and as a result, he was arrested. On October 3, he was taken back to Silipeng Police Substation of Yingcheng City, but because of his righteous thoughts, Chen was able to escape. On July 23, 2004, while doing the Falun Gong exercises at his workplace, Chen was arrested by the Dongguan Public Security Bureau. He was then transferred back to Yingcheng City Public Security Bureau. On July 25, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
Currently these three practitioners are being tortured at Shayang Labor Camp in Hubei Province.

In September, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor and is now being tortured at Shayang Labor Camp, Hubei Province.

In the evening on November 17, 2004, Mr. Liu Chunsheng, an employee of the Luoyang Bearing Research Institute in Henan Province, was arrested by Jianxi Public Security Sub-Bureau while giving out the truth-clarification materials. He was later transferred to Wangshan Labor Camp.
7. [Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia] Mr. Xing Shuguang Is Detained
A married couple, Ms. Zhang Yu and Mr. Xing Shuguang from Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia, were arrested from home on November 24, 2004 by the deputy commissioner of Manzhouli City Public Security Bureau, Zhao Lishi, and the commissioner of Hezhuo District Public Security Sub-Bureau, Che Yong, and several other police officers. Later, Zhang Yu managed to escape with righteous thoughts, but Xing Shugaung is still detained at Manzhouli City Detention Center.

8. [Laizhou, Shangdong Province] The 610 Office Sentences Mao Xiuzhen and Chen Yunmin to Forced Labor
On the morning of September 30, 2004, Wang Yongguang and Liu Weibin, police officers from the National Security Team of Laizhou City, followed by another four to five police, broke into 40-year-old Ms. Mao Xiuzhen's home. Ms. Mao resides at Houdianzhi Village at Wenchan Road, Laizhou City. The police searched her house and found Dafa books and truth-clarification materials. Afterwards, they arrested Ms. Mao and detained her at Laizhou City Labor Camp, from where she has yet to be released. Immediately afterwards, they broke into Mao Xiuzhi's home (Ms. Mao Xiuzhen's sister) and searched her house, but found nothing.
At 8:00 a.m. on October 21, 41-year-old Ms. Chen Yunmin from Laizhou City was at his workplace. He was arrested by a police officer named Han Guoxin and another police officer from Wenchang Police Sub-Bureau, Laizhou City with the excuse that they were conducting an investigation.
On October 22, the police returned to Chen's house to perform another search. After finding several experience-sharing articles written by fellow practitioners, they detained Chen at Laizhou City Labor Camp. At the labor camp, Liu Guoliang, a police officer from the National Security Team of Laizhou City, punched Liu Yunmin until one of his eyes turned black and blue. It did not fully recover until one week later. Up until today, Chen Yunmin has still not been released
On November 10, 2004, the 610 Office of Laizhou City sentenced Chen Yunmin and Mao Xiuzhen to two years of forced labor.
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jiang Cuilan Is Arrested
Ms. Jiang Cuilan from Wanquan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province was sentenced to three-years of forced labor and imprisoned at Baoding Gaoyang Labor Camp, where she was severely tortured both physically and mentally. As a result, she was in a critical condition. Afraid of shouldering the responsibilities, the Gaoyang Labor Camp asked Ms. Jiang's family to take her home on August 1, 2003.
At 5:30 p.m. on October 3, 2004, the leader of the National Security Team of Wanquan Town, Wanquan County, Jiang Aiguo, again arrested Ms. Jiang Cuilan and took her to the Zhang Jiakou City Public Security Bureau. On the same night, they sent her to Gaoyang Labor Camp for further persecution. Currently, Ms. Jiang Cuilan is critically ill.

10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Liu Suran Is Detained, With Nobody Left to Take Care of Her Son
In the afternoon on November 8 of the Chinese lunar calendar, Liu Suran, from the Third Institute of Hebei Province, was arrested by police while giving out truth-clarifying materials. Now she is detained at Shijiazhuang No.2 Labor Camp. The police searched her home and took away a large amount of Dafa books and materials. Her 15-year-old son was left at home with no one to take care of him.
11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. You Yuqin from Xinchengzi District Is Arrested
Ms. You Yuqing from Wangbin Village, Xinchengzi District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province was arrested on November 10 near her sister's home in Xincheng City, Liaoning Province. She is currently detained at Xincheng Labor Camp.
12. [Tang County, Hebei Province] Mr. Sun Hongmin Is Arrested
At around 10:00 a.m. on November 10, 2004, Mr. Sun Hongmin from Beishangsu Village, Beiluo Town, Tang County, Hebei Province, was arrested by the Tang County 610 Office and Beiluo Town Police Substation. Now he is detained at Tang County Detention Center (which is located inside the Tang County Public Security Bureau).
It is said that Sun Hongmin went on a hunger strike inside the labor camp twice, and now his physical condition is very poor. He is forced to do physical labor. The Tang County 610 Office tried to send him to a forced labor camp in Baoding City.

13. [Inner Mongolia] Ms. Duan Songping Severely Beaten by Police from the National Security Team
Ms. Duan Songping resides at Taipugushiqi in Inner Mongolia. On November 15, she was arrested by the National Security Team of Ximen City, Inner Mongolia. On the same day, she was beaten by a police officer named Bai Xianqian. Duan Songping went on a hunger strike and appealed for Falun Gong to both the country and the people. Currently, Duan Songping is imprisoned at a labor camp connected to the Ximen City Public Security Bureau, Inner Mongolia.

Uncle Lu (58 years old) and his son (about 30 years old) from Baihe, Longquanyi District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province were arrested by the Shuangliu County Police in November. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Cui Ling, 32 years old, a university graduate, resides at District No. 4 of Xinjiazhuang, South District of Qingdao City. She went to Beijing many times to validate Dafa and was detained. She is now homeless and has been so for some time. She has to rent a place to stay since she can't return home.
Around 7:00 p.m. on September 7, 2004, Mr. Li Zhenwen and his wife Ms. Zou Limei went to find Cui Ling and were followed by secret police. Soon after arriving at the place where she was staying, Qingdao City Nan Police Security Sub-Bureau broke in and secretly arrested the three of them. Now Cui Ling is imprisoned at Dashan Labor Camp at Qingdao City and her 3-4-year-old daughter has no one to take care of her. Li Zhenwen is once again imprisoned at Huaibei Jail.

21. [Changle County, Shangdong Province] Ms. Yang Mingxian Leaves Labor Camp with Righteous Thoughts
Ms. Yang Mingxian from Changle County Garments Factory was followed and arrested by the Chengxi Police Substation while handing out truth-clarification materials on October 27, and she was sent to the County Detention Center for twenty-nine days. On November 24, she was sent to Wangcun and was sentenced to two years in a labor camp. She left the labor camp with righteous thoughts on the same day.
22. [Changle County, Shangdong Province] Ms. Sun Yufang and Liu Huanying Are Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Sun Yufang from Changle County Construction Company was arrested by the Gaoya Village Police Substation on September 9 while distributing truth-clarification materials. She was later sent to Changle County Detention Center for criminal detention. On October 28, she was sent to Wangcun and was sentenced to three years of forced labor.
Ms. Liu Huanying from Changle County Transportation Company was followed and arrested by the police from the Chengxi Police Substation. She was detained at Changle County Detention Center for twenty-nine days. On November 24, she was sent to Wangcun and was sentenced to two years forced labor.
23. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Zhang Jingqing Is Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Zhang Jingqing was the chief of the Credit Section of a branch of Kunmin City Industrial and Commercial Bank. Because she was determined in her belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," after July 20, 1999, she was persecuted by the Wuhua 610 Office, the public security bureau and her workplace. As a result, she was forced to quit her job. In 2002, Zhang Jingqing was arrested and jailed by the Wuhua Public Security Bureau. She was released after over twenty days.
In the middle of October 2004, Zhang Jingqing was again arrested by the Wuhua 610 Office and Zhang Min, who was from the National Security Team, to the Spaceflight Sanatoriun Brainwashing Class. Nine practitioners were also arrested, including four servicemen.

On the morning of November 28, 2004, Ms. Tian Yulan (53 years old) from Xixiakou Village, Chengshanwei Town, Rongcheng City, Shangdong Province was arrested by the police of the local police substation while she handed out truth-clarification materials at a local supermarket.
