During Homecoming, alumni will return to the school to revisit happy memories and to meet their old friends. The main activities of Homecoming include a major football game and a large-scale parade. This tradition was started at the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1911. Even today, the parade in Columbia is still the largest homecoming parade in America.
