(Clearwisdom.net) Many Falun Dafa practitioners in Huhhot City, Inner Mongolia are using their own ways to clarify the truth and validate the Fa. However, there is still room for improvement. For example, some practitioners were not diligent in clarifying the truth, but were always keen on finding out the state of the persecution. They would pass on inaccurate information to other practitioners and advise them not to go out for the sake of safety. Secondly, there were very few Falun Dafa truth clarification materials production sites and we were short of materials. Thirdly, because of a lack of coordination, the power of the one-body could not be brought into full play. All these phenomena showed the inadequacy of the practitioners in Huhhot as one body in validating the Fa. To improve the situation, I have some suggestions that have yet to be well considered. Please kindly point it out if what I have said is incorrect.
1. We Should Not Cover Our Mentality of Fear with Excuses
In my contact with other practitioners, I often heard talk about the methods the authorities were using or tricks they were playing to deceive practitioners. Some said that in order to remain safe we should study the "Fa" more and go out to clarify the truth less. They would describe in detail the false information about the persecution and give others the impression that we were surrounded by evil. It is not wrong for practitioners to pay close attention to safety. As long as the evil exits, it will not stop persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. In other dimensions, it eyes Dafa practitioners covetously and attempts to find loopholes and opportunities to persecute them. However, practitioners' safety cannot be ensured merely by ordinary means. The fear of being persecuted is exactly the reason for persecution by the old forces. In "Teaching the Fa at the Washington D.C. Fa Conference" Teacher said:
"People's different grasps of and comprehension of the Fa lead to different perceptions of the current situation, and all that's happening is targeting different human thoughts. Those who do well will change the environments around them, and those who do poorly will make the environments around them change according to their states of mind. Dafa disciples have different states of mind, so they have different perceptions of the environment, and that's why the way each person acts is different."
As a matter of fact, as long as we can let go of the mentality of fear, the unsafe factors will be eliminated.
"But for a lot of people, I think they're just afraid. For a god or a cultivator, fear is considered a major attachment, and it truly won't do if it's not removed." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York")
Any reasons practitioners had for not coming out to validate the Fa were really excuses to cover their mentality of fear. If a practitioner only wants to gain and does not want to give or does not want to take any risks, and only uses everyday people's planning and selfishness to treat Dafa, he or she cannot be even considered to be a good ordinary people person. Then how can he or she be counted as a Falun Dafa practitioner? Can't the practitioner see that fear and selfishness are the hidden factors behind the persecution by the old forces? Clarifying the truth is a special cultivation way of Fa-rectification period Falun Dafa practitioners and is the right way to let go of the mentality of fear. Reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to eliminate the evil factors instilled in us by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is also very effective in eliminating the mentality of fear.
2. Walking on the Path Arranged by Teacher Is the Safest
Teacher said in his "New Year's Greetings" on the 2005 Chinese New Year, "The path that Master tells you to take is sure to be righteous." I enlightened to the understanding that the righteous path must be the safest. I always held this thought when doing Dafa work and I always felt very relaxed. Every step a Dafa practitioner takes must be in line with the requirements set down by Teacher and he or she must totally deny the arrangements made by the evil. In this way the evil has no excuse to persecute you. During Fa-rectification cultivation, any danger we encounter, our being persecuted, or having made mistakes are a natural result of not walking on the path arranged by Teacher. Teacher said,
"If you, as a student [of Dafa], do not follow Master's requirements, it is definitely no simple thing. The old forces have arranged for all Dafa disciples a set of their things, so if a Dafa disciple doesn't follow Master's requirements, he must be following the old forces' arrangements. The old forces are in essence gigantic trials and tribulations that accompany you at all times, focused on whether in Fa-rectification Dafa disciples are able to step forward." (Teacher's Comments "Be Clearheaded," May 8, 2004)
Teacher has explained very clearly about the paths arranged by the old forces and the danger generated from them. By paying attention to meticulous safeguards designed by human beings instead of walking the path arranged by Teacher, there can be no real safety.
3. Only by Studying the Fa Well Can One Keep His Righteous Thought
Righteous thoughts and righteous actions must first of all begin with righteous thoughts that come from persistently studying the Fa. In each Fa-lecture Teacher has stressed the importance of studying the Fa. Teacher said,
"The best approach is to read the book(s) a lot--you have to read the book(s) repeatedly. What Master is telling you is absolutely good for you." (Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York)
Falun Dafa is the universal truth and the fundamental guarantee for reaching consummation. Because Falun Dafa practitioners are cultivating in the environment of everyday people and clarifying the truth using the means of everyday people, karma and the temptations of ordinary society are factors that pull you toward everyday people.
"When you aren't diligent, though, those human things of yours will be exploited." (Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York)
Therefore, studying the Fa well is the basis for Fa-rectification cultivation. Those who have the ability should set up a Fa study group so that practitioners are able to compare themselves, share their experiences, and discover their own shortcomings and loopholes in order to make diligent progress together. Only when you can persist in studying and assimilating to the Fa will you have righteous thoughts as solid as diamond and the strength to resist interference, persecution and danger. You will then be able to walk the path of Fa rectification well.
4. Take the Fa as Teacher, Cherish the Time and Walk the Last Leg of Our Journey Well
Teacher said,
"Now when we look at Mainland China, with the environment how it is at present, if some students still can't step forward, then they are about to truly lose their chance." (Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York)
"Right now the evil beings are basically following, in an irrational way, the factors originally arranged by the old forces; they are being used and are doing things that interfere with the Fa-rectification. Some evil beings get up and flee the moment they are in proximity to Dafa disciples. Some tremble with fear, hesitant, while they do bad things now. So Dafa disciples should not be afraid, and they should handle everything in an upright and dignified way. It is the evil beings that are scared." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2005 Manhattan International Fa Conference")
On June 25 this year, Teacher said,
"So many years have passed over the course of history, the Three Realms have existed for so long, and so many sentient beings have come here over time, but all hopes are being placed in this one moment out of all the ages. This instant is precious beyond measure. Completing the last leg of this journey well is what's most magnificent." ("Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago")
Dafa practitioners should only believe in Teacher, take the Fa as the Teacher and persist in keeping righteous thoughts. The closer we get to the end of the journey, the more strictly we need to do the three things well. In particular, when we want to do a good job in clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings, we must be diligent in studying the Fa well and sending forth righteous thoughts. We must always remember that we are validating the Fa, not ourselves. We must deny all the interference made by the old forces and the persecution by the evil. Please cherish this time and walk well the last leg of the journey of Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioners.
