(Clearwisdom.net) I am from Yongqing County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, and as of 2005, I am 71 years old. I was once diagnosed with a cardiac disease and suffered with it for 12 years. During that time I visited all kinds of hospitals in the country and spent countless sums of money, but to no avail. I lost all hope in the hospitals.
I couldn't stand the sickness torturing me anymore, so I went to seek help from qigong. People introduced me to all kinds of meditation practices, as well as Falun Gong. At that time I was fooled by Jiang Zemin's regime's lies and didn't believe in Falun Gong, so I began a Buddhist practice. For 6 years I spent all my effort in that practice. Not only did it not solve my problems, but I was then diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis (a blood clot in a cerebral artery or vein), and my body was degenerating day by day. I couldn't take care of myself and there was nowhere to ask for help. In April of this year I struggled to move myself to the front door, and then a dog bit me on my shoulder. I was crying and in pain. It was worse than death.
When I was in desperation, my daughter came to visit me from Wuqing. She is a Falun Dafa practitioner. Seeing my condition, we hugged and cried together. She suggested that I let go of all my attachments and said that only Falun Dafa could save me.
With nowhere to turn, I listened to her. She patiently explained the principles of Falun Dafa. I understood that Falun Dafa teaches the principles of the universe and can bring salvation to all sentient beings. A good future will come to us only if we practice the highest universal principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance."
When I understood the truth of Falun Dafa and the principles, my body slowly recovered. Since April until now, over 5 months, my cardiac disease and cerebral thrombus have all healed. Now I am free of sickness.
I am truly thankful to our Master! And I am thankful to Dafa for saving me from death. I want to advise everyone to treasure this momentary chance. Hold onto it and don't let it go.
