(Clearwisdom.net) Recently I have participated in more and more projects. I have seen many conflicts, such as someone having trouble with others, someone wanting to be the leader, etc. I was shocked when I heard these things: "How can practitioners act like this?"
I started to have this kind of thought: "Oh! The remaining old forces are dividing us." Even while sending forth righteous thoughts, I was thinking seriously about eradicating these partitions. However, what is so strange is, since I started thinking these kinds of thoughts, I have seen more and more of these kinds of things and they are worse and harder to resolve.
One day, I was sharing with my fellow practitioner A, and we happened to mention this phenomenon. Practitioner A is very capable among everyday people, but he could not win the trust of other practitioners whom he would like to help. He felt very disappointed and worried that his good idea could not be executed. We became more and more indignant until he jumped to a conclusion, "Well, forget it, maybe they can figure it out by themselves, or else they will come to beg me." My heart was so shocked by hearing what he said, and I remembered the sentence in Zhuan Falun, "If it does not irritate a person psychologically, it does not count or is useless...." Wasn't it irritating our hearts? Recently Master's lecture in San Francisco in 2005 exactly mentioned this point,
"If somebody is digging into the bull's horn without seeing his own attachments, then his loopholes have been taken advantage of by the demons and the evil. His attachments have been enlarged and strengthened more and more, so that in his mind he feels that he is right and should do things the way he wants to do them." At that moment we suddenly realized that when our hearts were disturbed by any practitioner's conduct, actually it is because we still have attachments. The next day, when I read Master's 2005 lecture in San Francisco, which mentioned,
"Even if I were not able to help you, you still have to handle this problem with righteous thoughts. You should still do whatever you ought to do and should not be attached to it with a human mentality, do not compound these problems in your mind, look at the relationships very righteously, do not overemphasize it, and remain very calm." I understood that every practitioner is walking his own path. Of course coordination and cooperation are needed. Whenever we see loopholes and misunderstandings, we should quickly resolve the problems or share our experiences base don the Fa. We must face conflicts with righteous thoughts, instead of fostering them or creating new ones..
Through this situation I realized why Master said
"The more relaxed or comfortable things get, in fact, the more serious is the test you face." (Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005, lecture portion)
I wrote this article in hopes that it might help my fellow practitioners to grasp each chance of improving and to make it through with righteous thoughts.
