Mr. Shen Liqin, a Falun Gong practitioner in his 30s, was employed at the Irrigation and Drainage Institute of the Bureau of Water Resources of Shanghai Municipality. Around April 5, 2005, Mr. Shen was once again arrested and had his personal property confiscated by the Shanghai police. He was secretly sentenced to three and half years in prison.

On the evening of November 29, 2005, five police officials from Siguanying Police Station in Linyuan City, Liaoning Province, broke into Mr. Gao Minghui's home, searched his house and took him away. Mr. Gao was then detained in the second detention center of Liaoyuan City. His family was denied visitation rights because Mr. Gao did not hand over 200 yuan for so-called "meal and other incidental expenses." On December 12, Mr. Gao was transferred to the first detention center of Linyuan City. The authorities are planning to illegally sentence him.

At 8:30 a.m. this morning, Dr. Zhou Daqing at Pu'ai Hospital in Anlu City, Hubei Province, was arrested as he was preparing for surgery and taken to the Hubei provincial brainwashing center.

In addition, another practitioner, Mr. Liu Yang, was illegally detained in the Sili Detention Center. He has been on hunger strike for several days to protest the persecution and is now very weak.

On the afternoon of December 9, 2005, when the Nanchong practitioners Jia Jianhua and Xiao Fan were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Wufeng's sixth team, they were reported to the police and arrested by officials from the Wufeng Police Station. The local National Security Team searched their houses.

On December 1, 2005, Ms. Ou Xiulian was arrested by police officials from the Beichen Police Station. At about 8:00 p.m. that same day, Mr. He Zulu was also arrested by the 610 Office of Yulin City. Both of these practitioners' houses were illegally searched. Mr. He Zulu is being detained at the second detention center of Yulin City.

When Mr. Wang Qingzhong and Ms. Zhao Xiuyan, a couple from Dengta City, Liaoning Province, went to their hometown in Xiuyan County to visit their family, they were suspected of spreading truth clarification materials and reported to the police. On December 6, 2005, officers from the Leek Town police station, Xiuyan County, in collusion with officials from Dengta Police Department, went to Mr. Wang and Ms. Zhao's work place and home to arrest them and handcuffed them with one pair of handcuffs. Ms. Zhao successfully escaped with righteous thoughts. Currently, Mr. Wang is being illegally detained at the Leek Town police station in Xiuyan County.
