Solemn Statement
Since July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun Dafa began, Jiang's regime has carried out an extensive and misleading propaganda campaign against Falun Gong in conjunction with a systematic persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. My older sister was taken into custody several times for practicing Falun Gong. She was even sentenced to forced labor for two years. I was also implicated. Special agents from the state security department summoned me to extort money from me. I was forced to pay 2,000 yuan to get my sister released on parole. I had to go visit my sister in a forced labor camp in another town, where I found her in terrible shape as a result of torture. Out of fear of the government, as well as concerns for my sister, I said disrespectful things about Falun Dafa and Teacher Li. After my sister had explained the true situation to me, I realized that the government reports are complete distortions, which are meant to hurt people all around the world. Hereby, I solemnly declare that anything I said against Falun Dafa and Teacher Li is null and void. Any and all so-called Guarantee Statements I signed under pressure at the police station, the state security department, and the labor camp are completely void. I will take every opportunity in the future to tell people that Falun Dafa is great and to make up for the damage that I have caused.

I'm not a Falun Gong practitioner. After watching False Fire, I have realized that the state-run TV stations have been spreading unsubstantiated lies to frame Falun Gong. Under the influence of the propaganda and lies, I unwittingly signed my name to an anti-Falun Gong statement. I hereby declare my signature void! There is nothing wrong with "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." I will also practice Faun Dafa in the future and will take the opportunity to tell others that Falun Dafa is good to make up for the damage I brought to Falun Dafa.
