1. Obtaining the Fa and Regaining Happiness

I am a female Falun Dafa practitioner in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Ever since I was young, I suffered from tribulations, one after another. My marriage drove me to the edge of collapse and at the time I felt so bitter in my heart. I wondered why the world was so unfair to me and why I had to live in misery.

On May 1, 1999, I was very fortunate to learn about Falun Dafa. Every time I read Zhuan Falun, my eyes filled with tears of excitement. I was deeply attracted to the profound principles taught by Master in the book.

Soon after I started studying Falun Dafa, Master began to purify my body. For the first time in my life, I experienced the feeling of being free from illnesses. Every evening I went with my son to read the Fa at the practice site, while every morning we did the exercises in the open air with other practitioners. I enjoyed the happiness and auspiciousness of being with fellow practitioners. I experienced the beauty of being in the Fa and I understood the genuine meaning of life.

2. Validating Dafa and Clarifying the Truth Together with Fellow Practitioners

Since July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, white terror has spread all over the country as if the heavens collapsed. At the time, some fellow practitioners went to Beijing to validate Dafa and some stepped forward to clarify the truth under the immense pressure. In January 2001, at a fellow practitioner's home, I saw a practitioner take out 1000 yuan for making truth clarification materials. I, too, brought out 200 yuan. Without persuasion from anyone, we spent the money on making truth-clarifying flyers, and buying envelopes and stamps. Then, we inserted the flyers into envelopes and affixed the stamps. After that, we wrote down the addresses of the people who were in charge of persecuting Falun Gong across the country on the envelopes. We obtained the addresses in advance. We then mailed them out, ignoring the bitter cold. This action greatly shocked the evil and had a good effect in saving sentient beings.

3. Distributing Truth-clarifying Materials

In early 2002, I read Master's latest articles, "The Two Hand Positions for Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts," "Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America," and "Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Fa Conference," at a fellow practitioner's home. After I returned home, I studied the Fa again and again and realized that as disciples in the period of Fa-rectification, we shoulder the significant historic mission of saving sentient beings. Master's words rang in my mind,

Through fellow practitioners, I had the opportunity to read Minghui Weekly and to share experiences with practitioners from all over the world. When I read that so many practitioners were persecuted to death and tortured in forced labor camps, and when I thought of the fellow practitioners who safeguarded Dafa nobly, even while they were being persecuted in the evil's den, I was amazed by their righteous behavior. I was not scared by the brutality after reading about the inhumane persecution. Instead, I had only one thought in my mind, to help sentient beings know the truth of the persecution. Thus, I started to put up and distribute truth-clarifying materials every day. Regardless of whether it was winter or summer, cold or hot, I delivered truth-clarification materials to thousands of households. I remember when I was distributing flyers for the first time. I was so nervous that my legs trembled constantly. Then I started to recite "Mighty Virtue" [a poem from Hongyin].

One time, my son and I went to put up truth-clarifying posters. Master showed me that the words on the slogans were brightly glittering. I was encouraged and had more confidence. We should follow Master's instructions to do well the three things persistently in studying the Fa, explaining the facts and sending forth righteous thoughts.

4. Validating Dafa Together with Fellow Practitioner Li Ying

Ms. Li Ying was a practitioner from Fushun City. Since 2002, I had been validating Dafa together with Li Ying. Li Ying was tortured to death by the Fushun Police Department No. 1 Division on April 2, 2003. http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/4/14/47014p.html

The two of us delivered Master's lectures and articles to fellow practitioners. In the evening, we distributed truth-clarification materials. Before we left, we first sent forth righteous thoughts. One time Li Ying and I went to post some truth-clarifying stickers. Due to my attachment to fear, I posted a sticker hastily and it was not done correctly. Li Ying, however, without fear or uneasiness, rectified it with a righteous attitude. On the way back she said, "Dafa is sacred. We should do everything righteously. You know, all the gods are watching us." This helped me to make up my mind to do things well.

Another time, we went to hang up banners. The one I brought with me was up already, so I stood in the middle of the street, waiting for Li Ying. I then saw a vehicle driving towards me slowly. I walked slowly to the roadside. It wasn't until the vehicle drove by me on the dark road that I realized it was a 110 police car. Li Ying had just finished putting up the banner at that moment. It was scary but there was no danger. If I were not in the middle of the road, the police car would not have driven so slowly and they would have seen Li Ying. I knew that Master was protecting us.

We told everyone we met about the goodness of Dafa. During 2002 and 2003, Li Ying and I distributed over 5000 copies of truth-clarifying flyers and over 200 VCDs, and we also put up over 20 banners saying, "Falun Dafa is Good!" We came back safely each time, under the protection of Master. What we did greatly shocked the evil in the local area.

Later, a fellow practitioner was abducted and yielded to the evil under pressure. The practitioner revealed that Li Ying was still practicing Falun Dafa. In April 2003, Li Ying was abducted from the grain store that she ran. Within two days, she was beaten to death. With her unshakable belief in Master and Dafa, she did not say anything to the police.

5. Persistently Clarifying the Truth

My family members know that Falun Dafa is good. Sometimes, I explained the truth of Falun Dafa to strangers, too. Whenever possible, I clarified the truth to people who have a predestined relationship with me.

On October 18, 2004, I went to Beijing with two practitioners to send forth righteous thoughts and clarify the truth. Since Beijing is the place where the evil is concentrated, there was a lot of interference before we left. We kept sending forth righteous thoughts, but there was still much interference. I went on reciting the Fa and sending forth righteous thoughts for over three hours. I knew that the old forces' dark minions were making their last-ditch efforts. With our powerful righteous thoughts, we arrived in Beijing without incident. We knew that our presence would bring about a great deal of elimination of evil in other dimensions.

We sent forth righteous thoughts while looking for a hotel. At the same time, we tried to explain the truth to the people we met in Beijing. I wrote carefully on an utility pole, "Falun Dafa is good." We walked around Tiananmen Square and sent forth righteous thoughts. There was a policeman every twenty meters along the subway. We saw that Tiananmen Square was well guarded, with policemen everywhere and police cars waiting nearby.

We went to the hotel and started to study the Fa, send forth righteous thoughts, and do the exercises together. Every evening we would not sleep until we finished sending forth righteous thoughts at midnight. We slept about three hours a day. Although the fellow practitioners and I could not see anything with our celestial eyes, we held a strong belief and confidence in Dafa. We went out in the evenings to post truth-clarifying stickers. When fear arose in my mind, I rectified myself in time since I knew that I was doing the greatest thing and the most righteous thing in the universe.

During the past five years, under the protection of our benevolent Master, I have been rectifying myself gradually through cooperation with fellow practitioners in clarifying the truth and offering salvation to sentient beings. I will keep doing well in clarifying the truth and do my best to help more people learn the truth about Falun Gong.
