(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa disciple An Fengbo, 34 years old, from Jilin City, Jilin Province, was employed as a policeman in Jilin City Huanxiling Forced Labor Camp. On March 4, 2005, he was arrested again. He didn't comply with the persecutors and shouted loudly "Falun Dafa is good." He is imprisoned in the Jilin City Detention Center. His 5-year-old child and his over 60-year-old father-in-law, who has a serious heart disease, are left at home without care.
Mr. An started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. After taking up the practice, he strived to do things according to the standard of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," whether in his family environment or at his work unit. He became a person who always looks after others. On July 22, 1999, he and his pregnant wife went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong. His child was born in September 1999, and two months later in November 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for the second time. He was subsequently detained.
Later, he, his wife and his mother-in-law, holding the few-months-old baby, went together to the Appeals Office in Beijing. The police from the Jilin City Liaison Office in Beijing took them away and later sent them back to Jilin City. The police put him and his mother-in-law in detention, and his wife was allowed to go home because she was nursing the baby.
In 2001 Mr. An was sentenced to two years of forced labor because of his steadfastness in validating the Fa. He was imprisoned in the No. 4 team of the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province. The police and the guards there ruthlessly tortured and abused him. He suffered physical torture, including a session where his front teeth were kicked out. He has been very determined to validate the Fa in that environment and has never compromised with the persecutors. Before the 2003 Chinese New Year, when his original imprisonment term was two months overdue, he got out of the forced labor camp.
When he returned to his workplace, the Jilin City Huanxiling Forced Labor Camp, to resume work, the labor camp management demoted him. They used his being a Falun Gong practitioner as an excuse to reassign him from the labor camp officer position to doing janitorial work at the main gate. Still, he confidently faced everything with a Dafa practitioner's mindset. He worked hard regardless of the circumstances and treated everyone around him kindly. His colleagues all knew that he was a good person practicing "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." However, officers from the local Qingdao Police Station under the Chuanying District Police Department often went to his home to harass him. Consequently, he was later compelled to move into his mother-in-law's home.
At about 7 o'clock in the early morning on March 4, 2005, four officers from the Dadong Police Station under the Jilin City Chuanying District Police Department broke into his mother-in-law's home to search the place. The police not only took away his Dafa books, but also arrested Mr. An and his 60-year-old mother-in-law. The perpetrators took them to the local police station for persecution. Mr. An firmly resisted the arrest and tried to get away, but without success.
At the Dadong Police Station, Mr. An refused to respond to the policemen's interrogation and kept shouting "Falun Dafa is Good!" for a whole day. The police station didn't get a confession from him, so they sent him to the Jilin City Detention Center.
The police also fabricated a rumor saying, "Mr. An's arrest resulted from someone reporting him to the authorities." At present, his 5-year-old child and his over 60-year-old father-in-law, who has serious heart disease, are left in his mother-in-law's home without care.
Recently, officers from the Jilin City Chuanying District Police Department, the Fengman District Police Department and the Changyi District Police Department have gone out to harass and arrest Dafa practitioners quite a few times.
