1. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Rong Arrested; His Whereabouts Unknown
Mr. Zhao Rong, around 60 to 70 years old, lives in the family housing compound of the Shijiazhuang Railway No.3 Bureau. In early April of 2005, a practitioner from Shijiazhuang City was visiting Mr. Zhao at his home. The Shijiazhuang police arrested both of them, and Mr. Zhao's whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Qin Arrested
Ms. Pan Qin, around 50 years old, lives in Fangtou Village, Renhe County, Gaomi City, Shandong Province. On April 4, 2005, the police from the Renhe County Detention Center ransacked her home and forcibly arrested her. She is now imprisoned in the Gaomi Detention Center and suffers brutal torture.
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Two Sisters Secretly Sentenced; Family Members Appeal for Legal Support
On April 6, 2005, the Dalian Zhongshan District Court sentenced Ms. Hu Shumei and Ms. Hu Guilian without informing their family members. The court fabricated the crime of "hindering the implementation of the law" to sentence them. Their family members, however, were not informed until recently, and their lawyer was not allowed to see the sisters. The family was not given the details of the sisters' sentencing.
Both sisters were arrested on September 6, 2004. On October 13, the detention center forced the family members to sign the arrest paper and made up an arrest date of September 30, 2004. In an earlier incident on April 26, 2002, Ms. Hu Guilian's daughter was sentenced to two years of forced labor simply because she refused to sign the paper when her parents were detained. This time, the family members, feeling intimidated, signed the arrest paper out of pressure. Ms. Hu Guilian's husband Mr. Liu Wencan is still paralyzed from being tortured for seven consecutive days and nights when he was previously detained.
4. [Yanjin County, Henan Province] Police Arrest Dafa Practitioners
On the afternoon of March 18, 2005, the Yanjing County Police Department received a report from the Cenggu Township Police Station stating that someone was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in the township. They suspected it was Ms. Bian Zhaoqing, who lived in the township, and broke into her home. They also took some truth clarification materials. At that time, they did not arrest Ms. Bian because they lacked proof.
On March 21, when Ms. Bian went out shopping and was chatting with friends in the Dongjie Area, the Yanjing County plain-clothes police arrested her. The details are not known. Ms. Bian's husband has been paralyzed for many years and depends on her care.

5. [Shanghai] The Police May Have Arrested Mr. Liu Weixin
It is suspected that the police arrested Mr. Liu Weixin from the Shanghai Minhang District. According to an eyewitness, on April 5, 2005, three police vehicles surrounded Mr. Liu's home. This is the fourth time that Mr. Liu has been illegally detained.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] The Chaoyang District Qinghe Police Station Arrested Mr. Wang Wei

7. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhu Yuxiang Arrested for Distributing Truth Clarification Material
Mr. Zhu Yuxiang from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province was arrested for distributing truth clarification material before the 2005 Chinese New Year. He walked out of the detention center 3 days later. On April 7, 2005, in the afternoon, the Qigong District deceived him and detained him again. He was sentenced to two years in prison and is now jailed at the Zhangshi Forced Labor Camp.
8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Two Female Practitioners from the Dadong District Were Arrested
On April 5, 2005, the police arrested two practitioners, Ms. Wang Jinping and another female practitioner, from the Dadong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province.
9. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Shi Lichun Arrested
On April 2, 2005, the police arrested Ms. Shi Lichun from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province at Erlong Village, Xiaolou County, Zengcheng District. Ms. Shi has two sons, one in junior high school, and another in senior high school. No one is currently taking care of her sons.
10. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Muying Arrested
On April 1, 2005, the local police arrested Ms. Yu Muying, a staff member from the Environmental Sanitation Station of He Shengqiao County, Xianning City, at her home. She is now imprisoned in the city's detention center and is suffering persecution.
11. [Beijing] Ms. Ren Xu and Other Practitioners Arrested; Their Whereabouts Unknown
During the "Two National Conferences Period," (1) Ms. Ren Xu and Xiao Qing went to visit another practitioner's home and the Haidian District police arrested them. Their whereabouts are still unknown.
12. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Aiqin Arrested
At around 3:00 p.m. on April 7, 2005, Ms. Zhang Aiqin from Weicheng District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, was distributing truth clarification material around Intersection West, Beigong West Street, Weicheng District. Someone in a City Management vehicle discovered her and called the police. She was arrested and her whereabouts are known.
13. [Hengdong County, Hunan Province] Two Practitioners Jailed in the Hengdong County Detention Center
On March 15, 2005, four practitioners went to Hengdong County to clarify the truth and distribute truth clarification materials. Some plain-clothes policemen followed them. Ms. Tao Juxiu, over 70 years old, and Ms. Zhang Jixiu, over 60 years old, were arrested and imprisoned in the Hengdong Detention Center. As of today, the Hengdong Detention Center has refused to allow their family members to visit them and has threatened to extort 500 yuan from another practitioner's workplace.
