(Clearwisdom.net) At dusk on April 25--the 6^th anniversary of the "April 25" Peaceful Appeal--representatives of many organizations and over a thousand Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese Consulate in New York to ask the public to speak out against the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and to call on Party members to stop participating in the persecution.

Fei Liangyong, the Chairman of Federation for a Democratic China, came from Germany to participate in this activity. He said: "The April 25 appeal was peaceful and rational, and the CCP purposefully distorted the facts and charged Falun Gong practitioners with 'besieging' Zhongnanhai (the Chinese Central Government compound). Zhongnanhai is a public place, and practitioners went there to appeal because they were mistreated and persecuted."

Mr. Fei said: "Though every Chinese citizen has the right to appeal at Zhongnanhai, the CCP spread rumors charging Falun Gong practitioners with 'besieging Zhongnanhai;' the CCP also directed the 'Tiananman Square Self-immolation' to frame practitioners and then ran a large-scale propaganda campaign to demonize Falun Gong. The campaign deceived many Chinese."

He said that the CCP maintains its persecution against Falun Gong by constantly fabricating lies. In the past 6 years, more than 1000 practitioners have been persecuted to death and tens of thousands have been tortured and subjected to brainwashing. The scale and brutality of the CCP's persecution of the Chinese public and Falun Gong is far beyond the Holocaust.

Tang Baiqiao, chairman of "China Peace," said that his organization publicly supported Falun Gong as soon as the persecution started in 1999. At that time, he received a lot pressure. He said: "In front of the Chinese Consulate which represents the CCP in New York, I call on the CCP to immediately end the persecution of Falun Gong. As Jiang has completely backed out of the Chinese political circle, Hu Jintao and his regime now has no excuses for claiming that Jiang is still manipulating behind the scenes, preventing the end of the persecution."

Mr. Tang also called on all Chinese to pay closer attention to the brutal persecution. He said that inasmuch as this group of good people are being persecuted so brutally, people who remain indifferent will be condemned by the generation to come and by history.

In the end, Mr. Tang solemnly stated: "I call on all people fighting for justice to speak out for Falun Gong. Otherwise, you will be washed away by the tide of history."
