1. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] The Qinduankou Prison Police Ordered a Criminal to Break Dr. Jiang Qixiang's Legs
Dr. Jiang Qixiang is a physician at the Dongfeng Autocar Company employee's hospital in Shiyan City. During April and May of 2002, when Dr. Jiang was detained at the Qinduankou Prison, No. 2 Ward, policeman (instructor) Qi Jianxiong ordered prisoner Hu Tao of the 12th brigade to beat Dr. Jiang with wooden stick, breaking the lower part of both his legs. When Dr. Jiang was released from prison in November 2003, both of his legs were disabled.
2. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Su Shunrong and Ms. Liu Xiujie Tortured to Obtain Information
In March 2005, policemen from the Chuanying District Public Security Sub-bureau arrested Ms. Su Shunrong and Ms. Liu Xiujie of Jilin City, and took them to the criminal brigade. The Jilin City 610 Office and criminal brigade policemen forced them to drink mustard water, and tortured them with the tiger bench and other torture methods in order to force them to reveal the source of the Falun Gong truth-clarification materials they had passed out. After the torture, the police detained them at Jilin City Detention Center.
Ms. Su lives near the mosque at Deshengmen in the Chuanying District, Jilin City. Ms. Liu lives on Zhihe Street in the Chuanying District, Jilin City. Both of them are about 50 years old, and make a living by selling fruit.

3. [Weihai, Shandong Province] Geng Aimin Sentenced to Three Years of Forced Labor
On April 12, 2002, the police arrested Geng Aimin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Qianyijia, Rushan City, Weihai District, Shandong Province, and sentenced him to three years of forced labor.
4. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Jinfeng Sentenced to Five Years in Prison
Ms. Zhang Jinfeng of Liulitun Area, Chaoyang District, Beijing was arrested in early 2004. On January 25, 2005, in a secret session, she was sentenced to 5 years in prison. On February 4, she was forcibly taken to the Beijing Daxingzi Women Prison. Earlier, Ms. Zhang appealed according to the law, but was rejected without cause. During the whole process, the judiciary did not notify any of her relatives.
5. [Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province] Ms. Jia Guanglin Sent to Brainwashing Center
On January 17, 2005, while Ms. Jia Guanglin was clarifying the truth to Wang Zhanliang, Secretary Wang Xiangshen arrested her. Eventually, the local police station took her to a brainwashing center.

6. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Partial Situation of Falun Gong Practitioners Being Harassed and Arrested
At around 2:00 p.m. on February 28, 2005, Falun Gong Practitioner Ma Xilin was using the Internet in an Internet bar. For doing so, the policemen from the Zouwu Town Police Station in Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province took Ma Xilin to a detention center at 10:00 p.m.
On March 5, 2005, the police arrested Falun Gong Practitioner Shao Mingshui of Shagou Town Police Station in Zaozhuang City. Shao Mingshui was sent to the Zibo Forced Labor Camp on the March 6.
On March 6, 2005, after 5:00 a.m., policemen from Zhangfan Police Station in Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City climbed over the wall to break into Mr. Ren Zemin's home (his older brother Ren Zeguo died from the persecution). Mr. Ren was not home at the time. His parents, wife and son (all Falun Dafa practitioners) resisted with righteous thoughts, and the policemen did not prevail.
On March 6, 2005, after 8:00 a.m., Chen Wei, the 610 Office head and Li Feng, the police station instructor from Taozhuang Town, Xuecheng District, Zaozhuang City led a group of people to arrest Yang Qinggong at work without presenting any identification or notifying the workplace cadres. Yang Qinggong told them that their acts violated the constitution and citizen's rights. Yang Qinggong firmly resisted with righteous thoughts and later escaped.
7. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Dong Liangzhi Arrested
Ms. Dong Liangzhi of Koubu Village, Koubu Town, Qingzhou City, Shandong Province became homeless to avoid being persecuted. Because she persists in practicing Falun Gong she has been persecuted many times. Recently the police followed her. On January 14, 2005, she came home with her husband after work, and was arrested at her house that night. Her husband and son, who do not practice Falun Gong, spoke up for her. As a result they were also taken away. Her husband was eventually forced to pay 1500 yuan so he could return home with their son. During the three days that Ms. Dong was detained, the police called her husband again, and asked him to pay food expenses, but he refused. The police now do not allow anyone to visit her, or deliver any necessities.
8. [Beijing] Mr. Zhai Guangcai Arrested Again in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province
At 3:00 a.m. on March 10, 2005, more than ten plainclothes policemen broke into the home where Mr. Zhai Guangcai was staying with relatives. The ten policemen did not show any identification or identify themselves. They forcibly carried Mr. Zhai away. His whereabouts are still unknown. His relative's home was ransacked and was left in shambles.
Mr. Zhai is over 60 years old and a senior engineer. Because of his belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," the Shijingshan Public Security Sub-bureau and the Babaoshan Police Station have arrested him many times and sent him to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing. Because he remains steadfast in his belief, he was deprived of sleep for a long time, and tortured with high voltage electric batons. Mr. Zhai was badly beaten. One year after he was released, the scar from the electrocution could still be seen. While in the labor camp, because Mr. Zhai meditated with both legs crossed, policemen pressed his chest down towards his legs, and squeezed him under the bed board. He nearly suffocated.
After he was released, the local police continued to harass him. The police adopted the policy of implication (those related to him were also "guilty"). His family started to hate him and there was much enmity within his family. His relatives, who did not understand the truth, kept away from him for a long time. When they did see him they hurt him physically and mentally. He was forced to give up his comfortable life in Beijing, and temporarily resided at his relative's home in a village.
9. [Hefei, Anhui Province] Mr. Jia Chengyuan is Arrested at Home
At 3:00 p.m. on March 5, 2005, a group of people from the Hefei Baoke District criminal detachment, Changqing Police Station, and Wu Genquan, the political and judiciary committee member from Changqing Street came to Mr. Jia Chengyuan's home with some requested policemen. More than ten people forcibly dragged Mr. Jia to the police car and left. Afterwards, they ransacked his home and confiscated many personal items, leaving only the sounds of the weeping grandchildren.
10. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Nine Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested for Making Dafa Materials
On March 10, 2005, nine practitioners including Jiang Yizhou were producing Falun Dafa materials at the dormitory in the Autocar Factory. Policemen from the City Public Security Bureau followed and arrested all of them.
11. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Teacher Ms. Wei Wenyan Arrested for Clarifying the Truth to Students
Ms. Wei Wenyan is a retired teacher from the Tuanshan Primary School. She tutors primary school students at home. Because she told the students the truth about Falun Dafa, the policemen from the Kuancheng Area Sub-bureau took her away on March 8, 2005. She is now detained at the Shuangyang Detention Center.
12. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Long Jianhua Arrested and Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Ms. Long Jianhua, 34 years old, worked doing sentry duty at the Xiangtan Cable Factory, and lives at a dorm at the Xiangtan Cable Factory. On December 21, 2004, at around 7:00 p.m., the Xiangtan City "610 Office" staff led nearly ten people including Yan Zhuoqin, the chief of the national protection unit of the Yuetang Public Security Sub-bureau, and Li Manhui from the Xiacheng Township Police Station, to break into and ransack Ms. Long's home. They confiscated all of her Falun Dafa books, arrested her, and detained her at the Xiangtan City Detention Center.
On January 9, 2005, the police sentenced Ms. Long to one year of forced labor. She is now being held at the Baimalong Female Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou.
Since 1999, Ms. Long's family has been persecuted for practicing Falun Dafa. Her husband Mr. He Yunbo has been detained several times. In 2000 he was sentenced to two years of forced labor. Her elderly mother-in-law, and her 70-year-old father-in-law were also detained. Even now, many people from the Xiangtan Cable Factory monitor them and follow them day and night. Their neighbors, colleagues and friends all condemn the evildoings of Jiang's regime.

13. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gu Lianfang Arrested for Sending the Message, "Falun Dafa is Great"
Ms. Gu Lianfang of Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province was arrested in 2004 for clarifying the truth in a village, and later escaped from the detention center with Teacher's merciful protection. On January 26, 2005, she sent a text message "Falun Dafa is Great" to her colleague via her cell phone. The Dalian Information Center reported her to the Dalian City Public Security Bureau who then arrested her again. She is now detained at the Wafangdian City Detention Center.
On March 2, the Wafangdian City 610 Office head Na Gang prepared the so-called "material" and handed it in to the Wafangdian City Procuratorate. Wang Shoujie (female), who is in charge of this case, is attempting to sentence Gu Lianfang.

14. [Taichang City, Jiangsu Province] Police Torture Wang Jian
On November 7, 610 Office policemen from Taichang City, Jiangsu Province arrested Falun Gong practitioner Wang Jian in Taichang. Wang Jian was homeless to avoid persecution, is now being held at the detention center and conducting a hunger strike in protest. At the instigation of 610 Office policemen, the detention center cruelly tortured Wang Jian with a nail shutter for dozens of days, and is preparing to sentence Wang Jian.
A few days ago, Shi Yunyu from the Nanjiao Town Public Health Center was forcibly sent to the Suzhou Brainwashing Center. Also Chen Gang of the Taichang City Chinese Medicine Hospital was ordered to attend the brainwashing program. When he refused, the policemen from the 610 Office, utterly discomfited, ordered the Chengzhong Police Station to whip together 20 policemen to rush into the hospital to arrest Chen Gang at work and take him immediately to the Suzhou Brainwashing Center.

15. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Zhenfang Brutally Tortured for Four Months at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
After July 2004, Ms. Ding Zhenfang, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Dalian was again arrested and taken to the Dalian Forced Labor Camp, and then later transferred to No. 3 Team of No. 1 Division of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
Policemen at Masanjia brutally tortured Ms. Ding; it has been four months so far. Because she refused to wear the prisoner uniform, the guards locked her up in the bathroom from 4:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. She has been forced to stand for long hours and deprived of sleep for several months. The torture has been so severe that Ms. Ding has been tortured disfigured.
16. [Quzhou County, Hebei Province] Mr. Huang Yunzhang and Wife Arrested
On February 24, 2005, at 3:00 a.m., the Chengguan Police Station in Quzhou County, Hebei Province colluded with the No. 3 criminal team and jumped over the wall to break into Mr. Huang Yunzhang's home in Xiguan Village, Chengguan Town. They arrested Mr. Huang and his wife, together with a practitioner (a visiting relative) from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province without cause, and sent them to the Quzhou County Detention Center. The three practitioners conducted a hunger strike to protest the unlawful acts, and are still being detained.
