1. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Shaoqing Forcibly Taken to a Brainwashing Center
On the evening of January 26, 2005, Guo Jin, an officer from the Meihua Police Station, led several other officers to break into Ms. Li Shaoqing's home. They confiscated several sets of Falun Dafa books. On February 1, the police received reports that Ms. Li had returned from her parents' home. The next day, Liang Zheng, the director of the police station, took two officers and arrested Ms. Li at her home. Her husband was not at home. Her son and daughter tried to stop the officers from taking their mother away. The officers held them down very forcefully, and Liang threatened to have them expelled from school if they objected.
2. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Baozhong Arrested Within One Month of Release from Prison
Mr. Zhang Baozhong is from Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. He had been sentenced to three years in prison for practicing Falun Gong and was just released in January 2005. In February, he went out of town to visit his parents-in-law by train. The railroad police arrested him while he was clarifying the truth to passengers on the train. Mr. Zhang is being held in a special cell at Xili, Shenzhen City.
3. [Xicheng District, Beijing] 76-Year-Old Li Jun Arrested at Home
On the afternoon of March 1, 2005, officers in the Gongzhuang area in the Xicheng District went into Li Jun's home. The officers confiscated a computer and books and forcibly took Li Jun into custody.
4. [Beijing] The Haidian Police Department Arrest Ms. Liu Xiangfen
On the evening of February 28, 2005, officers from the Haidian Police Department, led by residential committee officials, broke into Ms. Liu Xiangfen's home in Shangdixili, Haidian District. The officers arrested Ms. Liu and confiscated a CD burner and other materials.
5. [Linxi County, Hebei Province] The Linxi County Police Arrest Ms. Wang Yumei and Mr. Pan Junqiang
Ms. Wang Yumei is from Huangzhuang Village in Hexi Township, Linxi County, Hebei Province. The Linxi police arrested her on February 24, 2005. The officers attempted to extort 3,000 yuan from her family but were not successful. Ms. Wang is being held in the county.
On February 23, 2005, the county police arrested Mr. Pan Junqiang, from Panzhuang, Linxi County.

6. [Xilin, Inner Mongolia] Local Police Arrest Mr. Liu Jianhua and a Practitioner with the Last Name of Cao
On February 23, 2005, the local police arrested Mr. Liu Jianhua and a young practitioner with the last name of Cao from the Brick and Tile Plant at Xilin Guole in Xilinhot City, Inner Mongolia.
7. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] The Local Police Send Mr. Liu Jianming to a Labor Camp
Mr. Liu Jianming is from Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. On January 17, 2005, the local police sent him to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province to serve a one-year term.
8. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiurong Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Liu Xiurong, 40, lives on South Xingfu Road in the Zhifu District of Yantai City. After July 20, 1999, she was arrested twice because she continued to practice Falun Gong and spoke out to clarify the truth. She was forced to become homeless to avoid recapture and continued abuse. Early in February, she returned home and local state security officers started following her. On the evening of February 13, 2005, police officers broke into her home and forcibly took her into custody.

9. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] The Police Arrest He Pinfu
He Pinfu, who was arrested by officers from the Yong'an Police Station while distributing truth-clarifying materials on February 23, 2005, is being held at the No.1 Detention Center in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province.
10. [Xushui County, Hebei Province] State Security Police Arrest Ms. Liang Yongfeng
Ms. Liang Yongfeng, 46, is from Xushui County, Hebei Province. She is a former employee of the Environmental and Sanitary Office of the county's Construction and Civil Engineering Bureau. On the evening of February 26, 2005, when she was on her way home, state security officers arrested her. She has been on a hunger strike for three days at the Xushui County Detention Center.
11. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] The Police Arrest Mr. Wang Dianren
At around 8:00 p.m. on November 30, 2004, five police officers ransacked Mr. Wang Dianren's home. They confiscated Falun Gong books and Teacher's portraits. Mr. Wang managed to escape that night and became homeless to avoid recapture. On the evening of February 5, 2005, he returned home. The police received reports and arrested him at his home at midnight. Mr. Wang is being held at the Changliu Detention Center in Tonghua, Jilin Province.
12. [Jingzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Meiqing from the Jingzhou District Arrested
At around 10:00 p.m. on February 27, 2005, four patrol guards led by Zhang Xianggu, the security director of Bailong Village in the Jingzhou District of Jingzhou City, joined Lu Jun, an officer from the Yulukou Police Station, and commissioner Hu of the Chengnan Development District, and broke into Ms. Wang Meiqing's home. Ms. Wang, who was having dinner, was handcuffed and taken to the Yulukou Police Station. The officers presented no legal papers and gave no reason for the arrest. Ms. Wang was notified that she would be sent to a brainwashing center in Wuhan City while she was being held in the police station.

13. [Chongzuo City, Guangxi] Mr. Qiu Guoming Arrested
On December 16, 2004, officers from the local 610 Office and from Jiangzhou Town Police Station in Chongzuo City, Guangxi arrested Mr. Qiu Guoming. The officers confiscated his personal computer, accessories and other materials.

14. [Shanghai] Ms. Tan Shaoshu, Ms. Huang Ruidi and Ms. Yao Guizhen Arrested
Ms. Tan Shaoshu, 60, is a retired employee of a pharmaceutical plant in Shanghai. She has been tortured multiple times for appealing for the right to practice Falun Gong and for clarifying the truth. She was arrested in September 2004 for distributing truth-clarifying materials, and her home was ransacked. She has remained in custody since then.
Ms. Huang Ruidi, in her fifties, was a top residential official. She was among the first group of Falun Dafa practitioners sent to a forced labor camp, serving a one-year term. After her release, she was twice taken to a brainwashing center and twice held at a detention center. Her home was also ransacked numerous times. On February 7, 2005, which was two days before Chinese New Year's Day, Ms. Huang was again taken into custody at a detention center. Her parents, both of whom are almost 80 years old, have been living in constant fear.
Ms. Yao Guizhen, about 50 years old, was detained for going to the appeals office in Beijing. She was arrested on February 7, 2005. Also arrested was her non-practitioner son, who is in high school. Her husband begged the state security officers not to arrest their teenage son, but to no avail. The officers took away all the cash in their home and caused much hardship to their family.

15. [Zengcheng, Guangdong Province] Mr. Feng Bingkun Arrested after Being Followed
Mr. Feng Bingkun is from Zengcheng, Guangdong Province. In February 2005, the police followed him while he was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to the public. He has since been arrested and held in custody at the Zhengcheng Detention Center. His wife and young daughter have been forced to become homeless, as they have lost all sources of income.
16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Zhou Yao and Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
Zhou Yao was followed and videotaped by the State Security Department after renting a small vehicle for carrying copies of "Zhuan Falun". Before February 4, 2005, officers from the state security department broke into Zhou's home. The officers arrested Zhou and many other practitioners. The officers then found over 200 copies of Zhuan Falun that had been published in Hong Kong. Fang Ping and Fa Cai are being held at the Erzhigou Detention Center, while Zhou Yao is being held at the Hanyang Detention Center.

17. [Sichuan Province] Mr. Chen Hu Sentenced to Two Years in Prison in Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province
Mr. Chen Hu, 35, from Sichuan Province, went to work temporarily in a factory in Oushui Town, Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province. He was arrested at work and taken into custody at a detention center. He has been notified that he is to serve a two-year term in a labor camp. He is appealing the sentence.
