Solemn Statement

I was apprehended in my home and taken to a brainwashing class by the street committee personnel at the beginning of October 2004. This brainwashing class was arranged in a very secret place. They threatened me, saying, "Everybody else has been "transformed", and they all went back home. If you refuse to be 'transformed', you will have to squat here." They beat me when I did not follow their orders and threatened to give me a shot that would damage my nervous system (one shot could cost about 1,000 yuan). Many collaborators were there to brainwash me. Because I did not have a job, was older, and had some attachments, I was afraid of bringing too much trouble to my children. After they wrote the "guarantee letter", they held my hands and pressed my fingerprints onto it. I felt deep regret as a result. Not only that, they also forced me to say "I will not practice or study the Fa ." Finally they reached their goal in brainwashing me. Statement: the fingerprint and the words that I said, "I will not practice or study the Fa" are all invalid. I will do the three things well from now on and doubly make up for the damage that I have brought to Dafa.

Solemn Statement

I obtained Dafa in 1998. Since July 20, 1999, Falun Gong has been persecuted. Upon learning this, I went to the city hall to appeal . The village committee apprehended me on the way there. I was forced to watch TV programs that slandered Dafa. I did not resist the authorities, although I knew that the programs were fabricated. I also turned in my Dafa books and signed a letter stating "I will not go to Beijing." Two days later, somebody from the police station went to my home to force me to sign a statement. Knowing that this kind of forced action was wrong, I signed my name without seeing what was written on the paper. I went to Beijing to validate Dafa on March 11, 2000. In Beijing, I signed my name and gave the police my address. After I went back home, the village cadre apprehended me and took me to the police station. They forced me to pay 50 yuan and detained me for forty-eight hours. Policemen forced me to squat with both feet held together for an hour. They asked me why I went to Beijing and they recorded everything I said. I put my fingerprints on the statement and signed it. When I went to Beijing in 2000, the policeman pulled my hair and took me to the local liaison office in Beijing and made me sign a statement. After I went back home, the village cadre came to my home, threatened my family and forced my eldest daughter to go to my parents home to threaten my family there. I was conned into going to the police station. The police detained me there for twenty-four hours and I was sent to the city detention center for 15 days. I was forced to watch TV programs that slandered Dafa and did not resist at that time. I signed on a piece of white paper when I left there. I hereby make the solemn statement: Since 1999, all the signatures that I have made in the village, at my home, at the police station, in Beijing and at the detention center that did not comply with Dafa are all invalid. I will do well the three things that a Dafa practitioner should do and follow closely the process of Fa-rectification.
