Mr. Yang Jianjun, a Falun Gong practitioner and a senior engineer at the Computer Center of Shengli Oilfield, was arrested again on June 28, 2005. The abduction occurred at 7:00 p.m. at his home, located in the Scientific Village No.1 in Shengli Oilfield.
Yang Jianjun has been working on the administrative staff of the Computer Center for many years. He has been strict with himself since he started to practice Falun Gong. He works diligently. Everybody who knows him feels that he is easy to get along with.
On July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin's criminal regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong. Yang Jianjun, following the state law, reported to the government his personal understanding of the persecution. Because of that action, he has been subjected to severe persecution in the Shengli Oilfield.
Mr. Yang was illegally detained and persecuted for going to appeal for Falun Gong and for doing the Falun Gong exercises outdoors. Policemen from Binghai Public Security Bureau of Shengli Oilfield were involved in the unlawful abduction. Some administrators in charge of the Computer Center were afraid to uphold justice for their employees. Instead, they forced Yang Jianjun to "buy off" his job (he was laid off after a one-time compensation based on how long one has worked). Later, Yang Jianjun had to work part-time to survive. Mr. Yang's wife is also a Falun Gong practitioner. She has been subjected to severe persecution as well. Presently, she has been laid off at the Shengli Oilfield and stays at home. They have a son who is in high school. Their financial situation is poor.
The Computer Center of Shengli Oilfield is one of the working units that aggressively persecutes Falun Gong practitioner. Ms. Shi Yi, another practitioner and a computer engineer from the Computer Center, had been detained in the Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp. Because she refused to write a guarantee statement to give up practicing Falun Gong, Ms. Shi has been arrested many times.
From May to June of 2005, a group of policemen from Huantai County, Zibo City, Shandong Province came to the Shengli Oilfield. They collaborated with the Shengli Oilfield 610 Office to monitor and arrest Falun Gong practitioners and search their homes. The policemen from Huantai County, in order to receive merit awards for their work in "controlling" Falun Gong, have used every possible means to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
They followed Dafa practitioner Zhang Aiquan and recorded all details of his actions. When they felt the time was right, they abducted Mr. Zhang and his wife, confiscated their computer, car and other personal belongings. Then, together with agents from the Material Company of the Shengli Oilfield, they illegally arrested practitioner Yu Desheng and confiscated his computer, car and other belongings. Finally, collaborating with the brutal thugs from the Oilfield 610 Office, and policemen from the Binghai Public Security Bureau, they searched the homes of anybody who had talked with Zhang Aiquan. About June 10, they surrounded Yang Jianjun's home in an attempt to abduct him. Mr. Yang escaped the evil's control with righteous thoughts.
However, they must have been monitoring Yang Jianjun's home, and he was arrested again on June 28.
Presently, the police are brutally torturing Zhang Aiquan, Yu Desheng and other practitioners. Witnesses have reported seeing Zhang Aiquan's clothes covered in blood. Family members of those practitioners are not allowed to visit them.
