(Clearwisdom.net) On July 23rd, Falun Gong practitioners gathered at Mynttorget in downtown Stockholm to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the brutal persecution against the practice in China, which has now entered its seventh year. The practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong's peaceful exercises and many people stopped by to have a look and find out more. There was also an exhibition about Falun Gong that exposed the persecution in detail.

Several hundred leaflets were distributed featuring the latest news about the murder of Gao Rongrong, the 37-year-old lady whose face was horribly disfigured from seven continuous hours of electric shock torture. She was later killed at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The leaflet also talked about several Chinese defectors who have exposed the CCP's 610-Office, (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) and its espionage of Falun Gong practitioners outside of China.

Handmade paper lotus flowers were handed out to children who were very appreciative. The practitioners also handed out leaflets to the many tourists in English, Russian, Chinese, German and Spanish. Despite the drizzle, the activities continued and after a while the sun came out. Many people got to learn about Falun Gong that day and join the worldwide voice of justice that is calling for an end to this persecution.
