1. [Tianjin City] Ms. Xi Junrong and Two Other Practitioners Detained
Ms. Xi Junrong, 57, lives in Room 401, No. 40 of the Sanshuinan Neighborhood of the Xiaohaidi Area in the Hexi District of Tianjin City. Ms. Li Xiufang, 61, lives close to the Sanshuinan Neighborhood. On December 20, 2005, these two practitioners were distributing truth-clarification materials at the door of the Renrenle Supermarket in the Xiaohaidi Sishuidao Area. Plainclothes police officers from the Zhufeng District Police Station illegally arrested them. Both practitioners have been taken to the Caozhuangzi Detention Center, where they are being tortured.
Mr. Wu Zhaoming, 53, lives in Room 8, No. 1 Courtyard of the Jinjiangli Neighborhood, Xiaohaidi Sishuidao Area of Hexi District. On December 27, police officers from the Donghai District Police Station arrested Mr. Wu. He has been sent to the Hexi District Detention Center, where he is being tortured.
2. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Tianying Arrested
In the early morning of January 2, 2006, the police from the Jiangjiaying Township Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Tianying from the Jiangjiaying Township, Fengrun District of Tangshan City in Hebei Province when she was distributing the "truth-clarification" materials in her township. The police ransacked Ms. Wang's home at 2:00 a.m. that morning. She is currently being held in the Fengrun Detention Center.
3. [Fengtai District, Beijing City] Ms. Li Yufang Detained
Ms. Li Yufang, 60, is a practitioner who lives near Nansanhuan Road, Muxi Garden, Fengtai District of Beijing. At the end of September 2005, the local 610 Office colluded with the police station and the local residential district office and forcibly took Ms. Li from her home. Ms. Li is currently being held in the detention center in isolation. Her family members are prohibited from visiting her.
4. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Bao Shuqin and Ms. Wang Yuzhi Arrested and Held in a Brainwashing Center
On November 7, 2005, the 610 Office from the Tiexi District of Siping City in Jilin Province colluded with the River Course Management Office of the Water Irrigation Department of Siping City and forcibly took practitioner Ms. Bao Shuqin, who was working as a staff member of the same work unit, to the Changchun City Legal Learning Center (a brainwashing center) to be tortured and brainwashed.
On November 30, 2005, practitioner Ms. Wang Yuzhi from Siping City was forcibly taken to the Fushun City Brainwashing Center in Liaoning Province, where she was tortured.

In December 2005, practitioner Ms. He Meiting was arrested when she was clarifying the truth on the street. She is being held in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp, where she is being tortured.

On December 26, 2005, practitioner Ms. Zhang Jinping from the Tiantan District of Beijing City was arrested in the Yongdimen Area. That night the Chongwen District Police Department, the Chongwenmen Police Station, and the local residential office all sent people to ransack Ms. Zhang's home.

7. [Shijingshan District, Beijing City] The 610 Office Arrested Ms. Pu Lihua and Four Other Practitioners
At the end of 2005, the local 610 Office arrested Ms. Pu Lihua and four other practitioners from the Moshikou Area of Shijingshan District of Beijing. Ms. Pu was also arrested two years ago, but walked out from the forced labor camp with righteous thoughts. She was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested.

Recently, the police arrested practitioner Mr. Xu Ming from the Taierzhuang District of Zaozhuang City.
9. [Suining County, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Shu Zhifeng Arrested While Working in Qingdao City
Practitioner Ms. Shu Zhifeng is from Suining County in Jiangsu Province. She was arrested when she was working in Qingdao City in the middle of September 2005. She has two school-age children who are now left alone at home with no one to take care of them. Her mother is a practitioner from Wuhan City and has been held in Suining County.
10. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] On January 15, after a Hunger Strike, Mr. Xiong Jinze Walked Out of the Detention Center
At 8:00 p.m. on December 20, 2005, more than ten plainclothes police officers from the local State Security Division suddenly pounced on practitioner Mr. Xiong Jinze. They pushed him to the ground, handcuffed him, and kicked and punched him. Then they used a black cloth to cover his head and arrested him. After the police took Mr. Xiong to the Changqiao Police Station, he went on a hunger strike, which lasted for fifteen days. His life was in danger. Because they were afraid of being held responsible, the police released him on January 4, 2006.

Mr. Zhou Yaping, 36, is a practitioner who lived in the Xiguan Warehouse, Chengguan Town, Shuangliu County. On December 28, 2005, Luo Shichun (male) reported Mr. Zhou to the police. Police officers Liang Hongquan and others from the Dongsheng Police Station in Shuangliu County then arrested Mr. Zhou. He is currently being held in the Shuanghua Detention Center.

12. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] The Nangang Police Station Arrested a Falun Gong Practitioner for No Reason
At around 12:30 p.m. on June 15, 2005, the police from the Nangang Police Station of Jiamusi City in Heilongjiang Province broke into Mr. Zhao's house to search it. It happened that a Falun Dafa practitioner from out of town was in Mr. Zhao's house at the time. This practitioner was arrested. The police confiscated the practitioner's personal belongings that he brought along, as well as Mr. Zhao's personal belongings. The practitioner was held in the Detention Center of Jiamusi City for about forty days and later was put in the Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp. Later, at the end of July 2005, through the active efforts of many people, the practitioner was released from the forced labor camp.
13. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] The Police from the Tianhe Police Station Arrest Ms. Zhang Yue'e and Mr. Zhu
At a little past 3:00 p.m. on January 5, 2006, police officer Lin Shufang (male) from the Tianhe Police Station went to the house of practitioner Ms. Zhang Yue'e and arrested Ms. Zhang, who was reading at home. They also ransacked the house. Later the police drove to practitioner Mr. Zhu Zhaoshui's house and arrested him.
14. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Xiumei Arrested for the Third Time
Ms. Yang Xiumei, 62, is a practitioner from Doumen Village of Zhuhai City. At around 5:00 p.m. on January 3, 2006, Ms. Yang was with her fourteen year old granddaughter clarifying the truth. The police from the Zhuhai City Police Department arrested them. On January 4, the police took Ms. Yang's granddaughter to Ms. Yang's house to search it. On January 5, the police put Ms. Yang into the Meixi Village No. 2 Detention Center of Zhuhai City, where she is now being tortured. The first time that Ms. Yang Xiumei was arrested, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. The second time she was arrested, she was sentenced to three years of forced labor.
15. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Zhenjin and Three Other Practitioners Sentenced to Forced Labor
On December 31, 2005, practitioners Mr. Li Zhenjin, Mr. Du Hui, Ms. Wang Shuxian and Mr. Wang were arrested and taken to the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp. They have been sentenced to forced labor.

16. [Gansu Province] Mr. Wang Jinping Arrested
At about 9:00 a.m., on November 4, 2005, the fifth Sub-factory of the 404 Factory of the Gansu Province Mining Area called practitioner Mr. Wang Jinping and asked him to attend a meeting at work. Using this means of deception, the police arrested him and took him to the Legal Learning Center of Lanzhou City (a brainwashing center) to be tortured and brainwashed. Mr. Wang still has not been released.
In February 2000, Mr. Wang went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. He went to Beijing to appeal for the second time in July 2000. Each time he returned from Beijing, the police detained him. The police brutally tortured him. His workplace also stopped his salary. Every month he was only given the basic living expense. The police also constantly went to his home to harass him.
17. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Shida Sentenced to Three Years in Prison

The police from the Wanbolin Police Department of Taiyuan City subsequently arrested him and ransacked his home. They confiscated his Falun Dafa books, computer, printer and other private property. Mr. Zhang is being held in the Xindian Forced Labor Camp and has been sentenced to three years in prison.
18. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Zhengquan Forced to Leave Home to Avoid Arrest
Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhengquan from Qionglai City of Chengdu City clarified the truth to the former CCP Secretary of the Village, Li Shaorong (male). Mr. Zhang advised him to withdraw from the CCP and gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Li Shaorong then reported him. The Chief of the Township Peng Jin (male) led the current CCP Secretary of the Village Gu Hongshuai, the CCP Deputy Secretary of the Village Song Qinghua (male), the Village Chairman Yang Jianhua (male) and the Village Committee Member Xu Bangkun (male) to arrest Mr. Zhang at his home. Mr. Zhang managed to get away, and he was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested.

19. [Shanghai City] Mr. Wu Aizhong and Two Other Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
On December 25, 2005, the No. 2 Middle-level Court of Shanghai City secretly sentenced practitioners Ms. Wu Aizhong, Ms. Zhang Hui and Ms. Liu Lan, following the original sentence made by the Qingpu District Court at the end of September. Ms. Wu Aizhong was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison, Ms. Zhang Hui to three years in prison and Ms. Liu Lan to seven and a half years in prison.
