1. [Yongji City, Jilin Province] Yang Chunman Illegally Sentenced to Twelve Years of Imprisonment
On May 26, 2005, Yang Chunman, a Falun Gong practitioner from Yongji County, was arrested at home by the Public Security Bureau of Yongji County and illegally detained in the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp for one year. He spent July and August at the Shulan City Detention Center by Shulan City Public Security Bureau where he was tortured for several months. On the basis of fabricated evidence, Yang Chunman was illegally sentenced to twelve years of imprisonment. He is currently being detained at Shulan City Detention Center. Yang Chunman didn't accept the verdict of the court and filed an appeal to a higher court.

2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioners Li Jianmin and Liu Jianjun Arrested in Zhangjiakou City
On December 21, 2005 Mr. Li Jiangming was arrested by Nanyingfang Police Substation in Zhangjiakou City and he is being currently detained at the Shisanli Detention Center of Zhangjiakou City.
3. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] He Congping Was Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Class
On December 2, 2005, Ms. He Congping (in her forties, retired) from Gezhouba, Yichang City, Hubei Province was deceived by managers of her company -- the Eighth Gezhouba Company -- to attend a meeting. Then her company's 610 Office, the security division and the National Security Team of Pinghu Publice Security Department forcibly arrested her and sent her to Wuhan Brainwashing Class. He Congping was illegally sentenced for one year of forced labor in 2000 because she practiced Falun Gong.

4. [Yuling City, Guangxi Province] He Aiping, He Zulu and Huang Leguang Were Arrested and Their Houses Ransacked by the Police
In early December 2005, police from the Yulin City National Security Bureau and 610 Office illegally ransacked the homes of Ms. He Aiping, Mr. He Zulu and Mr. Huang Leguang and secretly arrested them. Since October 1999, Ms. He Aiping has been repeatedly arrested because she firmly believes in Dafa. She has been illegally sentenced to three years of imprisonment and three years in a forced labor camp. Soon after she was released, police arrested her again. Huang Leguang was also sentenced for one year in a forced labor camp, and his wife Li Xiaomei (Dafa practitioner) was tortured to death in May 2005.
5. [Xingning City, Guangdong Province] Huang Zongpeng Arrested Secretly
On December 18, 2005 Mr. Huang Zongpeng from Xingning City, Guangdong Province was secretly arrested at Longtian Town, Xingning City, then detained at the Xingning Detention Center. Afterwards his house was ransacked.
6. [Dingxing City, Hebei Province] Shi Chunmei Couple Was Arrested
Shi Chunmei and her husband (non-practitioner) from Dingxing County, Hebei Province were reported when they clarified the truth on December 22, 2005. At around 2:00 p.m. they were arrested by the Public Security Department of Dingxing County.
7. [Jixi City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Including Zhang Bao Were Arrested
At 6:00 a.m. on October 18, 2005, three policemen from Didaohebei Police Substation jumped over the wall and entered the home of Mr. Zhang Bao and Ms. Jing Yongmei. They illegally searched the house and then took the couple to Hebei Police Substation and illegally interrogated them until 3:00 p.m. The police then sent them to the Second Detention Center at Jixi and illegally detained them there. On December 7 a female fellow practitioner named Pan was arrested. On December 23, another female practitioner at the Power Station in Jixi was illegally arrested.
8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Wang Yujuan from Xinbin County Was Illegally Extorted of 8000 Yuan
During August 2005, Ms. Wang Yujuan from Yongling Town, Xinbin County was reported and then arrested by police officer Fang Jie from Yongling Police Substation. Under orders from Guo Huawei, head of the police substation, 8000 yuan was extorted from her. She was then released.
9. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Xie Haifeng Was Secretly Arrested by the National Security Department of Chengdu City
On June 19, 2005 Mr. Xie Haifeng was secretly arrested by the National Security Bureau of Chengdu City, it was just learned that he was detained at the local "Legal Education Training Class" (brainwashing class).
