1. [Gongan County, Hubei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Ying Faces Further Persecution
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Ying from Gongan County, Hubei Province has been detained. Agents from the National Security Division in Gongan County have held her for more than one month. The agents failed to extort money from her family and sent her to the Legal Section to persecute her more severely.

2. [Suihua, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Jizhi and Others Illegally Arrested
As of September 27, 2006, Suihua City government officials had dispatched large groups of police officers to arrest Dafa practitioners. It has been verified that the homes of six Dafa practitioners were ransacked. These practitioners are Ms. Liu Jizhi, Ms. Li Ping, Ms. Li Shufen, Wang Guang, Ms. Zhang Shuqing, and Ms. Chen Shufan. Ms. Liu Jizhi, Li Ping and Li Shufen have escaped with the power of their righteous thoughts. It is said that eleven Dafa practitioners have been arrested.
3. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Mao Kaiming on the Brink of Death from Persecution at the Yangmahe Prison in Jianyang
Dafa practitioner Mr. Mao Kaiming from Xichang City was arrested in May 2005. Participating in the arrest were local National Security agents. It happened when Mr. Mao was clarifying the truth in Leibo County, Liangshan State. Leibo court officials then sentenced him to three years in prison in December 2005. He was sent to Ward 1 of the Yangmahe Prison in Jianyang where he was savagely tortured.
Mao Kaiming was on the brink of death between July and August 2006. He had developed several serious conditions from the brutal persecution. The prison authorities feared responsibility and turned him over to his son. Mao Kaiming has returned home, but he is still very weak. Despite his condition, Leibo County 610 Office agents coerced his son and neighbors to write a guarantee statement, to promise that they would watch his every move.
4. [Jiangsu Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zang Shuqin Persecuted by 610 Office Agents at the Hongze Farm in Jiangsu Province
Dafa practitioner Mr. Zang Shuqin is being held at the Hongze Farm, which is in fact the Hongze Lake Prison, as of September 18, 2006. Many people monitor him. It has been nearly half a month. Tang Jinchao, Cao Xinhong and others from the prison's 610 Office try to "reform" him on a daily basis.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Shumei from Shenyang City is held at Group 4, Division 1 of the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. An insider revealed that Jiang Shumei is currently made to complete an extremely heavy workload.

7. [Guizhou City] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Bu Chenghua Arrested Again in 2005
Dafa practitioner Mr. Bu Chenghua, 59 years old, from Yuping, Guizhou City has been arrested many times. He was arrested in 2001 sentenced to two years in prison and released at the end of 2003. He had been arrested again on August 2, 2005 and sentenced to prison. He is now held at Group 1, Division 5 of Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou City.
8. [Jilin City] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuzhi Arrested - Police Threaten Family for Requesting Her Release
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuzhi is held at the Baishan Police Department in the Fengman District, Jilin City. Her daughter, cousin and cousin's mother-in-law went to the police department at 8 o'clock on September 28, 2006 and requested for the police to release her. The police grabbed the mother-in-law's collar and shoved her outside. The cousin who is pregnant tried to stop the police, but she too was pushed away.
9. [Chongqing ] More Information on Four Dafa Practitioners Including Xu Wenxiu
It is learned that Dafa practitioner Ms. Nie Zhongmei from Chongqing has been sentenced to three years of forced labor and has been taken to the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp. Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Zhiqun and Ms. Pi Kairong have also been sent to the same labor camp. Ms. Xu Wenxiu was detained and later released.
10. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Officers from the Liandong Police Department Harass Dafa Practitioners
Shi, head of Liandong Police Department in the Congtai District, Handan City, Hebei Province led seven officers who went to the home of Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang refused to open the door. The police then opened the lock with a special key and opened the window from inside the home. They tried to take Mr. Wang to a brainwashing class. They also harassed other Dafa practitioners.
11. [Beijing] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yang Xiliang Sentenced to Two-and-a-half Years of Forced Labor
Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Xiliang, 43 years old, lived in the Heyidongli Neighborhood, the Fengtai District, Beijing. He was sentenced to four years in prison in early 2000.
Recently Wang Xuefei, an officer from the local Heyi Police Department, led ten plainclothes police officers and two security officers. These people broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Yang Xiliang. They pinned him to the floor and handcuffed him. Then they took out six copies of Falun Gong materials, which they had made themselves and put them in a conspicuous spot inside the home and began videotaping and ransacking. They found a copy of Zhuan Falun and took Yang Xiliang away, based on that finding. They sent him to the Fengtai District Detention Center. It was recently learned that Yang Xiliang has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years of forced labor.
Yang Xiliang's parents are both in their 70s and are in poor health. His child is less than one year old and his wife is unemployed.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhu Yifang Faces Prison Sentence
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Yifang from Chengdu City was arrested on May 25, 2006 and has been held at Guangyuan Detention Center. She went on a protest hunger strike and is in poor health. It was learned recently that Zhu Yifang will be illegally tried on October 13, 2006.
13. [Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Two Dafa Practitioners Detained at Dongsheng, Yimeng
Several Dafa practitioners distributed truth clarification materials in Dongsheng, Yimeng, on the evening of September 23, 2006. Their car was stopped and inspected by local police on their way back. The police found truth-clarifying materials in the car and detained two practitioners.
14. [Chongqing ] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zou Hualan Persecuted at the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Ms. Zou Hualan from the Changshou District, Chongqing was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor and has been sent to the Maojiashan Women's Labor Camp in Chongqing around September 24, 2006.
15. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Jiang Chenghui Sentenced to Over Five Years in Prison
Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Chenghui from Harbin City had worked in Jiangsu Province. She was persecuted for clarifying the truth to patients at a hospital. Ms. Jiang was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison on August 10, 2006 and was sent to the Group Drill Division at the Hongze Lake Prison in Sihong County, Jiangsu Province.
16. [Baicheng, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Guo Peiying Arrested
Dafa practitioner Ms. Guo Peiying was arrested at her home at 8:00 a.m. on September 26, 2006. Officials from the National Security Division at the Baicheng City Police Department participated in the arrest. The officials took one computer, one printer, and one audio cassette. Guo Peiying is currently being held at the Lai County Detention Center.
17. [Guangdong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Wang Meixin Sent to the Chatou Brainwashing Class in Guangzhou City
Seven people surrounded the home of Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Meixin at 5:00 p.m. on September 22, 2006. Two of these people held guns, and one person guarded the front door while the others ransacked the home and videotaped the process. They took truth clarification materials and took Wang Meixin to the Lingnan Police Department in the Liwan District, Guangzhou City. They sent her to the Chatou Brainwashing Class in Guangzhou City at noon the next day.
Wang Meixin's mother-in-law He Cuiqiong, also a Dafa practitioner, has disappeared around the same time.

A group of people broke into Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Chunqiang's home in the afternoon of July 4, 2006 and arrested him. They also took Yu Chunqiang's wife and a woman in her 60s from Qingdao, Shandong Province without offering any explanation. They held both people at the Laiyang Detention Center.
20. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Chen Shujie Still Detained
Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Shujie was arrested from work on January 6, 2005 and was directly taken to the Xinglongshan Brainwashing Class in Changchun City. Chen Shujie went on a hunger strike and was savagely force-fed and given IV infusions. After her release she went to Wang Weiguang, the head of her work place and requested to return to work. Wang refused to let her work again unless she wrote a guarantee statement. He also discontinued paying her salary.

21. [Suixi County, Anhui Province] Failed Trial of Dafa Practitioners Mr. Dai Zhifeng and Mr. Zhou Hui
Dafa practitioners Mr. Dai Zhifeng and Mr. Zhou Hui were arrested on March 2, 2006 when distributing truth clarification materials in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. They were transferred to the No. 2 Detention Center in Huaibei City, Anhui Province. Officials from the Xiangshan District Court in Huaibei City took Dai Zhifeng and Zhou Hui to the court at 3:00 p.m. on September 29, 2006 in an attempt to try them, but they didn't succeed.
22. [Chongqing ] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Chen Defu Held at the Beibei Detention Center
Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Defu is in his 30s. He was a graduate student at Southwest University in Chongqing . Several years ago he was expelled from the university when he was close to receiving his master's degree, simply for refusing to renounce his belief in Falun Dafa. He went back to Beibei to get a marriage certificate and was arrested. He is currently being held at the Beibei Detention Center.

23. [Chongqing ] Dafa Practitioners Ms. Mao Qilan and Ms. Wan Tianqin Arrested and Detained
Dafa practitioner Ms. Mao Qilan from the Beibei District, Chongqing was reported by a security officer at around 10 a.m. on September 15, 2006 and then arrested. It happened when she was distributing copies of the the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and truth clarification materials. Ms. Mao Qilan is presently being held at the Beibei Detention Center. Later, officers from Beiwenquan Street Party Committee and the police department ransacked her home. Her sister-in-law Wan Tianqin, a 30-something Dafa practitioner, was arrested at 7:00 p.m. on September 20, 2006. The police ransacked her home but didn't find anything.

24. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Jiang Yuejun and Others Still Detained
Officers Xin He, Li Jiazhe and others from Shulan Police Department arrested Dafa practitioners Mr. Jiang Yuejun, Mr. Zhao Yongcai, Mr. Yao Yuguo, and Mr. Zhao Chenghai and sent them to labor camp(s). They tried to have the practitioners admitted many times, but the labor camp authorities refused to accept them due to their poor health. They are still being held at the police department.
25. [Jilin Province] Persecution of Incarcerated Dafa Practitioners at the Jilin Prison
Authorities at the Jilin Prison began another round of persecution of Dafa practitioners on July 24, 2006. They assigned people to monitor Dafa practitioners around the clock, require the practitioners to write weekly reports and submit them to the Education Section, they conduct random searches in the cells to look for Dafa articles, and force the practitioners to strip naked and subject them to body searches. They torture them physically and torment them mentally until the practitioners "reform."
Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Xinqi was tied in a bed for more than 20 days, after which he suffered a relapse of lower back pain. He was eventually released. Practitioners Mr. Tian Rukai and Mr. Liu Hong were held in solitary confinement cells for 15 to 20 days. Tian Rukai was released while Liu Hong was transferred to the Strictly Controlled Division where he was held for one more month. It is said that practitioner Mr. Sun Qian from Dehui City who is held at Division 2 was found to have an electronic book that contained Dafa articles. He was subsequently tied in a bed at the Strictly Controlled Division for more than one month and was eventually released due to extreme weakness. Practitioner Mr. Jiang Tao from Changchun City, who is held at Division 2, was also found with an e-book and was held at the Strictly Controlled Division for more than one month before being released.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Airong from Fusheng Village, Erdaowan Town, Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province was arrested on September 29, 2006. Officers from the Hesheng Police Department in Nehe City participated in the arrest. Wang Airong has three children.

27. [Anyang City, Henan Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Huang Baoqin Went into Exile to Avoid Persecution
Dafa practitioner Ms. Huang Baoqin, a retired employee from the Tiexi Road Office in the Yindu District, Anyang City was reported around the 2006 Chinese New Year when clarifying the truth. Officials from the neighborhood Party Committee often sent people to monitor her. They followed her in a car and tapped her home phone. Police officer Liu Guangchao led other officers and ransacked her home several times. They had also gone to her husband's work place to put pressure on him. Huang Baoqin went into exile in May 2006 to avoid further persecution.

28. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Zhou Runlin Faces Prison Sentence
Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhou Runlin from Changsha City was arrested at work on June 15, 2006. Officers from the Xinhe Police Department in Changsha City participated in the arrest. His home was ransacked and his computer(s) and printer(s) were confiscated. Zhou Runlin has been held at the Changsha City Detention Center for more than three months. Kaifu District Police Department agents fabricated charges against him. They filed a suit against him with the procuratorate, but the suit was rejected for lack of evidence. It is learned that authorities from the Kaifu District Police Department are again making up false documents and filing them with the Kaifu District Procuratorate. Zhou Runlin may go on trial.
29. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xiang Juzhen and Others Detained
Dafa practitioners Ms. Xiang Juzhen, Ms. Shi Xinlan, and Ms. Mi Xiumei from Yaozu Township, Chenxi County, Hunan Province were arrested by local police on May 25, 2006 when distributing truth clarification materials in a neighboring county. They were held at the Chenxi County Police Department for three months, after which they were sentenced to three and a half years of forced labor, three years of forced labor, and one year of forced labor, respectively.
The three practitioners' families were made to pay illegal fines ranging from 1,050 yuan to 1,700 yuan.
30. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Fang Zhengping Recently Sentenced to Forced Labor
Dafa practitioner Mr. Fang Zhengping was arrested for clarifying the truth by officers were from the Xichang City National Security Bureau. Mr. Fang had worked at the New Steel Industry Corporation's No. 410 Factory in Xichang City, Sichuan Province. He was recently sentenced to 20 months of forced labor.
31. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Dafa Practitioner Ms. Pan Guilan Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
Dafa practitioner Ms. Pan Guilan from East Shabu Village, the Laixi Development District in Qingdao City is around 40 years of age. She and another Dafa practitioner, Ms. Li Yuzhen from the same village, hung up banners in Shabu Village on the evening of September 4, 2006. Officers from the Binhe Road Police Precinct in Laixi City arrested them.
Pan Guilan was recently sent to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City. Li Yuzhen has since returned home. The persecutors responsible for these crimes are agents from the Laixi 610 Office.

A group of police officers broke into the home of Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Daidi and arrested her at 7:00 a.m. on September 28, 2006. It is unknown where she is being held now.
