(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher said that as practitioners, we must do the three things well. Only then will everything go smoothly for us. However, when we cannot do one of the three things well, then we have not met the standards of the Fa.
I was one of those practitioners who did not do well in the three things. When I realized this, it was because I had not studied the Fa, sent forth righteous thoughts or clarified the truth to others. That’s why I met with trouble. Although I realized my situation, I appeared numb and paid less attention to it. On the surface, I tried to study the Fa, clarify the truth and send righteous thought in order to get rid of the difficulties, as they had gone away before. I know that Teacher is compassionate towards me and gives me chances to encourage me to cultivate diligently. However, once the obstacles are gone, I would again become lax. I know that I am taking advantage of Teacher’s Fa and compassion in dealing with trivial matters. I know it is wrong.
Recently, I have met with some difficulties again. I remembered that Teacher said,
"Whatever you experience during your cultivation--whether good or bad--is good, for it comes about only because you are cultivating." ("To the Chicago Fa Conference")
I believe that I am a cultivator and that I will become clearheaded if I meet with some troubles. At first, I didn’t do well. So, I decided to correct my behavior. Also, I sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate any kind of interference. If I do the three things well, then I will not experience any troubles. I also made truth-clarification materials. Maybe Teacher is hinting to me to cultivate diligently. My laziness causes much inconvenience for the local practitioners in my area. The old force arrangements interrupt me from studying the Fa and make me forget to send forth righteous thoughts. Isn’t Teacher hinting that I should cultivate diligently? This is a good thing. We should recognize that although it looks like there is a problem in our daily life, it is actually false. It creates an opportunity for us to look for our shortcomings and correct them.
My fellow practitioners please do not be numb or lazy in your cultivation. If we are that way, then everything of everyday people will return to us again. Shouldn’t we step out of humanness? Only when we cultivate diligently, will our environment improve.
Initially, I did not want to share my experience, but I know what I should do now. If you attach to doing well in human society, you will see it is impossible because it is an attachment. We should get rid of the attachments and gain without pursuit. Recognize the interference and follow Teacher’s arrangement. Teacher helped me realize the difference between an everyday person and a Divine Being through this trouble. I can only do well in what I should do and Teacher creates the environment.
We came to this Universe not to be interfered with by everyday issues. We came here for the Fa and to assist Teacher in Fa-rectification. There is no reason to cultivate laziness. Isn’t that the truth my fellow practitioners?
