(Clearwisdom.net) Reading Teacher's new article "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil" made me think of a the following question and answer in "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference":
"Disciple: I have found that when certain things that hadn't been done well are made up for later on, our overall Fa-rectification then proceeds much faster. So when disciples in certain regions don't do well, does it affect the overall progress of Fa-rectification?
"Teacher: The progress of Fa-rectification isn't affected, but Dafa disciples' validation of the Fa can be, it can hamper things. The reason being, in those cases, other places are fully cleaned up while in that place [that lags] the evil still has an effect, the persecution can't be ended, and the evil can't be cleared out. You know, nowadays people are sliding downhill faster and faster, and the morality of people today has declined horribly. If that didn't come to a stop, then human beings really couldn't be kept anymore, despite whatever one may wish."
I realized from this that the forced labor camps and prisons, where the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners still continues unabatedly, are the places that affect the progress of Fa-validation. If the persecution doesn't end and if the evil is not totally dissolved, human morality will slide down faster and faster. If we let it go on, human beings will be eliminated even if we practitioners still have time to complete our cultivation.
Therefore, it seems that the longer the persecution continues, the harder it will be for human beings to be saved. This directly affects Falun Dafa practitioners' duties to save sentient beings. This is extremely important.
What should we do? In the new article "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil," Teacher requests all of us, especially practitioners in mainland China, to thoroughly dissolve the evil and end the persecution.
What Teacher said is Fa. Following what Teacher says is our cultivation. Thoroughly dissolve the evil and create more opportunities for sentient beings to be saved. We practitioners can succeed.
This is my personal understanding. Please correct me if anything is incorrect.
