1. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Older Women Practitioners Wang and Tang Arrested
Two older women practitioners surnamed Wang and Tang from the Echeng District and the Steel Company in Ezhou City, respectively, went to Ms. Tang's home town, Zelin Town, Ezhou City. They had gone there to distribute truth-clarifying materials on the morning of October 22, 2006, but personnel from the town's police station arrested them. Then the police went to the two practitioners' homes and ransacked their places but did not find any evidence.
Ms. Wang, in her 60s, began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. She had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in January 2000, but was held at the Echeng District Administrative Detention Center for 15 days, followed by incarceration in the city's No.1 Detention Center for about three months, beginning June 2001. She has also been persecuted at the city's brainwashing center several times.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner's Family Visits Refused
Personnel from the Ezhou City 610 Office arrested practitioners Ms. Wang Hanmin, Ms. Song Chunmei and Ms. Guo Huanyuan from Ezhou City, Hubei Province and put them into the No.2 Team, No.1 Division in the Wuhan City Women's Prison. Their families went there to visit them on October 14, 2006, but their request was refused.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Chen Xiu Held at the Panjin Prison
Practitioner Ms. Chen Xiu was transferred from the Tiexi District Detention Center to the New Prisoner's Facility in the Shenyang City Prison on September 18, 2006. They then transferred her again to the No.11 Ward in the Liaoning City Panjin Prison.

4. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Supplemental Information Regarding the Arrest of Wang Shujuan
Personnel from the Yongzhou City's Lingling Police Station and from the 610 Office arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Shujuan and her non-practitioner husband the night of August 21, 2005. Her husband was released at 3:00 a.m. on the next morning, but Ms. Wang was put into the Lingling Detention Center. All family's visits were denied. Police ransacked Ms. Wang's home and confiscated her computer, a printer, a copier and some truth clarification materials. They have often harassed the family since then. Ms. Wang's daughter does not dare go back home. It was learned that Ms. Wang has been transferred to the Zhuzhou City's Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.

5. [Linqu County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Zhang Jiulan and Zhang Guiling Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Jiulan and Ms. Zhang Guiling, both in their 50s, are residents of Qiujiazhuang Village, Zhifang Town, Linqu County, Shandong Province. Personnel from the county's National Security Division arrested them from their homes on October 24, 2006. Their whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Chiping County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Wei Haofeng and Liu Daxi Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Wei Haofeng from Wenchen Township, Chiping County, Shandong Province was arrested on October 23, 2006. Personnel from the township police station arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Daxi from Xiaozhuang Township recently.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] 610 Office Agents Arrest More than Twenty Practitioners
Yantai City 610 Office officials ordered local police stations to stage a large-scale raid of practitioners the night of October 15, 2006. According to incomplete information, policemen have already illegally arrested more than 20 practitioners (from Zhizhong District, Muping District, Laishan District, Xixia City). Some arrested practitioners were couples; a five-year-old youngster was also taken away.
8. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Wang Shuiyong Faces Illegal Trial
Botou City Procuratorate returned the case of practitioners Mr. Wang Shuiyong and Mr. Cui Zhanxiang to the Botou City Police Department for the second time on August 10, 2006, due to lack of sufficient evidence.
Li Guodong, Xixindian Police Station chief, and Zhao Dongsheng, Botou City National Security Team chief, fabricated evidence, such as having found amulets and banners at practitioner Wang Shuiyong's house. Based on these, Botou Court officials intend to hold an illegal open trial for Wang Shuiyong and Cui Zhanyang on November 2, 2006.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Shaowei, from Qijiang County, disappeared on October 1, 2006. His whereabouts are unknown. Another practitioner from the Chaotianmen area also disappeared.
10. [Chongqing] Situations of Practitioners Chen Fu and Wang Tianqin
Practitioner Mr. Chen Fu (mistaken as Chen Defu in an October 4 report), about 30 years old, is a teacher and a graduate student of Xinan University. When he was about to obtain his master's degree several years ago, he was arrested and held at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp for refusing to give up his belief in Dafa.. After he was released, the university would not let him work. He had to return to his hometown in Jiangjin County, Chongqing. Soon after he decided to opt for living in exile to avoid illegal arrest. He did return to the university in May 2006 for a wedding function, and he was arrested. He is currently being held at the Beipei Detention Center.
Practitioner Ms. Mao Qilan from the Beipei District, Chongqing, was distributing the "Nine Commentaries On the Communist Party" and truth-clarifying materials at Tuanshanpu in the Beipei District at 10:00 a.m. on September 15, 2006. A security guard reported her to the police, which led to her arrest. Later on, a Beiwenquan Street Agent and local police station personnel searched her house and confiscated some truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Mao has since been released.
Practitioner Ms. Wan Tianqin, about 30 years old, is Mao Qilan's husband's sister. She was illegally arrested at home at 7:00 p.m. on September 20, 2006. Policemen searched the house but found nothing. Wan Tianqin is being held at the Beipei Detention Center. No family visits are permitted.

Several days ago, she went to Fo Village, Zhaili Town, Zichuan District to clarify the truth but was reported. Several days later, Ms. Zhang Suying, over 60 years old, also from Caiyuan Village, was arrested at home.
