(Clearwisdom.net) After the horrifying discovery of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and the immediate cremation of their bodies to destroy the evidence was exposed on March 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom websites founded the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG; also called "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution"). The CIPFG is collecting information from those willing to come forward, asking people who know the truth to further expose the crimes concerning illegal organ harvesting in China. We call on all people of conscience to lend help in exposing the facts of this vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners inside secret concentration camps, forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals in Mainland China. The sooner this atrocity is fully exposed, the sooner this brutal persecution will end. Below is information that came to light recently.
Investigation Lead: Questionable Organ Sources at the Zhengzhou Fifth Hospital in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province
According to a report published by the Zhengzhou Evening News on October 21, 2006, a female patient in need of a heart transplant entered the Zhengzhou Fifth People's Hospital on September 24. At 11:00 p.m. on September 27, a heart transplant operation was performed. It took only three days, from beginning the search for a matching heart, pre-op preparations, and discussing the particulars with the patient's family, to performing the transplant. The fact that the heart was obtained within just three days raises suspicions about the source of the heart.
According to the Zhengzhou Evening News published on October 19, 2006, the Zhengzhou Fifth People's Hospital has been on the top of the list since 2003 when it comes to performing kidney transplants. Doctors at the hospital performed 108 kidney transplants in 2005, of which 105 patients have survived as of this date. Family members donated only three of the kidneys. The source of organs for the remaining 105 cases are unaccounted for.
Investigation Lead: Organ Transplant at the Jiuquan City Hospital in Gansu Province
It was learned in early August of this year that doctors at Jiuquan City Hospital in Gansu Province performed a kidney transplant in 2005. We are suspicious about the source of this kidney. Because of inexperience concerning transplant technique and other reasons, the patient died after one year from accumulation of fluid in the kidney.
The hospital has been actively upscaling conditions for kidney transplants this year. Further developments should be watched closely.
The head surgeon of the hospital had received organ transplant training at the Shenyang Army Hospital between 2003 and 2004. It is known that the source of organs at the Shenyang Army Hospital was from "political prisoners" (mainly Falun Gong practitioners).
Doctors from many hospitals that perform organ transplants in China have been trained by doctors at the Shenyang Army Hospital.
Investigation Lead: Two Kidney Transplants of Unknown Origin in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province
According to a kidney patient on October 2, 2006, the Shijiazhuang City Third Hospital told the patient that a kidney (O type) could be procured and is ready for transplant. Because the family had concerns with the organ, they declined to accept the transplant. The person who notified the family was Liu Zhiquan, the director of the Shijiazhuang City Third Hospital.
According to the family of another kidney patient, Liu Zhiquan is the director of the Kidney Disease Section at Hebei Police Hospital (this person knew the source of the kidney). After he retired for unknown reasons, he did not provide the source information to the hospital and claimed that doctors at Hebei Police Hospital have not performed any kidney transplants. It is rumored that the cost for a transplant to the patient would amount to two thousand yuan. Half was for patient examination and preparation and the other half for the prison.
Another patient, who has registered at the Qilu Hospital in Shandong Province for his blood type (AB), received three separate notices from the hospital of available kidneys for transplant within four months. For various reasons, the patient has not yet had transplant surgery.

Investigation Lead: Yiyang City Central Hospital in Hunan Province Plans to Perform 3 - 4 Kidney Transplants Within the Coming Eight Months
It was rumored on August 21, 2006, that Yiyang City Central Hospital in Hunan Province (originally Yiyang Region People's Hospital) would perform 3 - 4 kidney transplants. Patients have already paid the fee and are waiting for the transplant.
