(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, the CCP and its media have been engaged in a widespread propaganda campaign for police officer Du Jun, trying to cover up the crimes he committed torturing Falun Gong practitioners. Du worked in the Xishanping Detention Center in Chongqing City. He now has cancer, and he is paying for the crimes he committed. He is in intense pain.
In the end of May 2001, Du, who was the captain of a forced labor camp, led the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that were "illegally imprisoned." The practitioners were forced endure many forms of brainwashing and torture. A 24-year-old practitioner, Li Zetao, was forced to haul excrement all day long and was not allowed to rest at noon or at night. He was tortured physically and spiritually, and passed away on June 2. He was cremated the following day to destroy the evidence. Du ordered other prisoners in the camp to torture the practitioners in any manner they chose. Prisoner Huang Zhongzhi stuck a fruit knife into practitioner Li's anus, and spun it around every now and then. Du said publicly, "In order to make the Falun Gong practitioners sign the Three Statements, any means of torture can be used." Du also told the practitioners, "In the labor camp, a person who is killed is no different than a dog that is killed--we just dig a hole and bury him. For officials like me, at most I'll just get a disciplinary warning."
Good deeds shall be rewarded and bad deeds shall meet with retribution; tribulation for committing crimes will come in due time. According to a CCP news report, around the 2003 Mid-autumn Festival , Du was the team captain of the Eighth Team at Xishanping Detention Center in Chongqing City. He was selected to go to the City Labor Education Bureau to help organize information and participate in the "All City Ministry of Justice - Reports in Fairly Executing the Law and Building a Good Image." One night, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his back, as if there were thousands of needles stabbing into his bones. Within seconds he was in a total sweat. In the days that followed, it happened more and more often. After he got back to the detention center, the pain got even worse, and Du was tortured day and night. Du bought three big boxes of "pain-relief powder" and secretly took three or four doses a day to relieve the pain. In March 2004, the pain was so great that he could not sleep at night. His weight went from 183 lb to 132 lb. When he was treated in Southwest Hospital, he could no longer bear the pain and had to be given a pain relieving injection almost every hour.
After consulting many specialists at different hospitals, Du was eventually diagnosed with "malignant fibroid with inflammation," a very rare type of incurable cancer. Du went to many hospitals and every doctor told him the same thing: "We are only able to control it to some extent; there is no certainty that it won't proliferate; surgery can only help temporarily ..." His last hope was gone.
Within only a year or two, Du was hospitalized ten times and had several major surgeries. Accompanied by incessant pain, especially after he had the second surgery, the nerve tissues in his left leg were damaged, and he lost all feeling in the leg. His intestines were also infected. The intense stomach pain often makes him unable to stand up straight, so he falls down very easily.
Du Jun, the official who was recognized by the CCP many times as an "excellent party member" and awarded "third-class merit" and "second-class merit" is now paying for the crimes he committed. What awaits him is even worse.
