(Clearwisdom.net) Speaking at a national conference of transplant surgeons in Guangzhou on November 14, 2006, Huang Jiefu, Vice Minister of Health publicly admitted, the human organs used for transplant in China, "Apart from a small portion of traffic victims, most of them are from executed prisoners." This information was immediately announced to the whole world through the November 18 edition of the English-language newspaper China Daily, the mouth-piece of the Chinese Communist regime. Its attempt is to hide the more shocking crime.
The international community has long been condemning the Communist regime for its inhumane practice of taking organs from executed prisoners. Due to decades of brainwashing, many Chinese people do not find it unusual to accept such practice, which is seen as utterly immoral in the West. The Chinese people think in the same vein as the Communist Party and even regard this inhumane practice of taking organs from executed prisoners as "doing a good deed." Because of lack of internal public pressure, the Communist regime never took the international community's loud denunciations seriously. The same Vice Minister of Health Huang Jiefu admitted as early as July 2005 at a press conference before an international liver transplant conference that "most organs come from executed prisoners."
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has always accused the international community of "interfering with China's internal affairs" for condemning its human rights violations. This time, however, the regime is vociferously admitting this scandal that has been seen clearly by the international community. Some people who do not understand the CCP's deceitful trick might perhaps be tempted to take it as a sign that the regime wants to completely change its ways to be good, but people who truly understand the CCP's nature know the regime's attempt: playing a trick to slip out of a predicament like a cicada sloughing its skin, in an attempt to evade justice for a much more serious crime--taking organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
On March 8, 2006, witnesses came forward and testified on the Communist regime's widespread practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and selling them for a huge profit. Since then, the international community has been calling with increasing intensity for on-site investigations in China. The regime is now under far greater pressure than when it was seen as only taking prisoners' organs, because the charge is live organ harvesting, killing for profit and physically annihilating people who persevere in their faith. The regime knows very well that these charges could never be admitted, as this is something far exceeding the international community's psychological limit for human rights violations. Any people of conscience would absolutely not tolerate it.
After twenty days of silence, on March 28, the CCP first denied charges of "taking organs from living Falun Gong practitioners" while claiming all organs were taken with expressed consent from donors, and everything is done within the law. It further claimed most organs come from patients' relatives and victims of traffic accidents. Because the response is too "extreme," the CCP have forgotten its previous admission eight months ago that "most organs come from executed prisoners."
Thirty-five days after witness accounts surfaced in March 2006, the CCP regime reported the alleged hospital's self-defense in a high-sounding manner, saying the limited facilities at the hospital are inadequate for the need of organ transplant, thus evaded and denied the charge of "harvesting organs" from living Falun Gong practitioners. The CCP's procedure of organ procurement is that often times "harvesting organs" is not carried out in hospitals where "organ transplants" are carried out, but instead on execution grounds. Therefore, "limitations" of medical facilities do not "impede" the CCP regime from "harvesting organs."
The CCP regime obviously knows it cannot wash itself clean of the charges, so it gave a tour to US diplomats at the medical facilities of the alleged hospital. The visit took place a full two weeks after the exposure of organ harvesting. Non medical professionals were guided by the criminal suspect, after having two weeks to prepare for the visit, thus no trace of living organ harvesting could be seen. The regime then used this visit to claim it had undergone the international community's investigation, and once again denied this accusation.
The CCP thought it would be able to stifle the accusations by vehemently denying them and at the same time turning down proposals for thorough investigations. Surprise came when two independent Canadian investigators proved through numerous data and facts that the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners not only didn't stop with international pressure, but instead continued openly and unscrupulously. The report came out on July 6, 2006.
Facing the 46-page report containing ironclad evidence and watertight arguments, the Communist regime pointed out two misspelled locations in China and hurled personal attacks against the investigators, as their official response to the report. The international community has by and large accepted the facts and conclusions made in the report. The Canadian government took the report very seriously and supports further investigations, while the U.S. government, the Australian government, many European countries, the Taiwan Parliament, the media and the general public have learned about this exceedingly cruel atrocity that has been committed against Falun Gong practitioners. As the result of the international society's widespread mutual recognition, the voice calling for on-site investigations in China is growing ever louder.
As moral condemnation and effort to uphold justice grow more widespread, unable to sustain this great pressure, the CCP regime unexpectedly, on their own initiative brought up "an old topic" and ostentatiously admitted to "taking organs from executed prisoners," a crime that is generally recognized as despicable but is not what the CCP fears the most to be exposed.
The CCP is admitting to a far lesser crime, in order to avert attention from the truly horrific crime--harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
When the CCP has publicly proclaimed Falun Gong as its most dangerous enemy, when under the situation that the justice system, judicial system and court system under the 610 Office could "follow no law in dealing with Falun Gong," when under the social environment that death row prisoners are treated better than Falun Gong practitioners who persist in their belief, then it is not difficult to see that the CCP handles Falun Gong practitioners as worse than death row inmates. Are Falun Gong practitioners part of the "executed prisoners" who according to the CCP's claim, make up the majority of the organ supply? When their organs are taken, is it before or after the execution?
