(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Police guard Dou Yuxin of the No. 5 Team of Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City used to remove practitioners' clothes and shock their chests (near their hearts) and their navels with electric batons. In November 2005, Dou Yuxin suddenly had a cerebral hemorrhage. He lost consciousness and became like a vegetable. His medication alone costs 50,000 yuan. He was slightly improved after an operation, but he still has to rely on intravenous drips. Now he can no longer work.
Qi Chunlei, a detainee in the No. 5 Team, used to viciously force weak, old, and paralyzed practitioners to do hard labor. He suddenly felt cold all over and asked what the problem was. Practitioners told him that he would receive retribution for his misdeeds. Before the 2006 New Year, Qi suddenly developed pulmonary tuberculosis and died during the Chinese New Year, after he went back home.
The Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Committee in Zhenjijiazhuang Village, Yaodianzi Township, Yishui County, Shandong Province, Receives Retribution
Ji Changchun, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee secretary of Jijiazhuang Village in Yaodianzi Township, Yishui County, Shandong Province, participated in the persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners many times when he worked in the Yaodianzi Township CCP Committee. He voluntarily acted as an accomplice to Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Gong. On the evening of the mid-Autumn festival, he and his wife hired a tricycle to go to their daughter's home to settle a household dispute. Their tricycle ran into a car. They were sitting in the front of the tricycle, and each of them sustained a broken leg, while the driver only had a minor injury to his shoulder. Ji Changchun suffered the most serious injury. His leg was severely fractured, and it cost him over 10,000 yuan to stay in Qishui Hospital. At present, he is still bedridden at home.
