Airforce 281 Hospital Confesses to Performing Transplant Operations Using Kidneys from Falun Gong Practitioners
There have been kidney transplant operations conducted at the Air Force 281 Hospital in Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City. It is preparing to do liver-kidney combined transplants, and they are advertising in local newspapers (see photo). The contact information in the newspaper lists 86-335-5360301- Yang Guangting (male) and Feng Binggang (male).
According to our investigation, this Air Force 281 Hospital openly declared that more than fifty kidney transplant operations have been done every year since 2002, and that they have done more than 300 transplants in total. A friend of mine inquired about a kidney transplant recently and specifically asked for a kidney from a Falun Dafa practitioner. They said it was absolutely fine. International organizations, please investigate this.
Lung Transplant Operation Done in the Tongji Hospital in Wuhan City
According to a report on November 30, 2006, by journalists Lu Shuiping and Cai Min, in the Education/Science/Culture/Health Column of Chutian Metropolitan Newspaper in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, another lung transplant operation has just been conducted in the Tongji Hospital.
The report said that on the afternoon of November 29, 2006, patient Ms. Wu Chunfang checked out of the hospital after having a lung transplant operation performed on November 7, 2006. Wu Chunfang is 37, and she lives in Xianning City, Hubei Province. Her operation took four hours, and was assisted by China Science Academy Member Qiu Fazu, doctors from the Transplant Institute, the Chest Surgery Department, the Respiratory Department, the Anesthesia Department, and Radiotherapy and Postoperative Infection Departments. They took Ms. Wu Chunfang's malfunctioning right lung out and transplanted a healthy lung.
Before this case, the Tongji Hospital and another local hospital tried inviting outside experts to conduct two to three single-lung transplant operations, but all of them had failed. The patients died on the operating table, or several days after the transplants. The transplant operations were started by the Transplant Institute Deputy Director Zhou Ping. The failures were due to the lung having direct contact with the outside world and getting infected, or the lungs being rejected as a foreign organ, so it was very hard to achieve success.
The report did not mention who were the donors of the transplanted organs.
