(Clearwisdom.net) From February 18 to 19, the 21st Oregon Asian Festival was held in Eugene. With the increasing interest in Asian culture, the annual festival was even more colorful and well attended. Music, dance, painting, calligraphy, martial arts and cooking, from Asia could be found here.

Teaching the exercises

Taking this great opportunity, practitioners demonstrated the beauty of Falun Dafa and exposed the 6-year brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist regime. Accompanied by elegant music and a gentle introduction, practitioners demonstrated the five exercises of Falun Gong on stage. At their booth, they clarified the truth to tourists.

Many earnestly asked how to start their cultivation of Falun Gong. A young fellow learned the exercises at the booth. He said: "I know I have a lot of bad things. However, I didn't how to get rid of them. Now I have found what I had been looking for."

Many people already knew about Falun Dafa. They condemned the persecution and expressed the wish to help practitioners with donations. Upon hearing that practitioners don't accept donations and only want to spread the truth, they were surprised and impressed, and expressed their support.

Practitioners noticed a big difference from the past years. This year, people rarely asked about why the persecution took place, and it was very easy for them to support Dafa. With the exposure of the Chinese Communist regime's persecution against Falun Gong outside of China, many people have realized that the persecution is not only an issue for China, but an issue that affects everyone.

An older man who had visited China in the past talked with practitioners for a long time. He said: "I love Chinese culture and I also know about events in China very well. You have your mission, and you should keep it up. When everyone comes together, the persecution will be stopped."
